Yes, I'm giving 5 stars to a spot in the MALL FOOD COURT. It was honestly so delicious, the people were friendly, and the prices were fair. It's in a food court so it's nothing fancy. You'll be eating with the masses who are having the other choices, but you'll feel superior while you nosh on potatoes, potatoes, and more potatoes.

4.5 stars. Potato Bar restaurant is located in the food court of Ross Park Mall. Of course, its menu focuses on potatoes in various forms--for example, fry cone/boat (French fries with dipping sauce), crunchies cone/boat (tater puffs/tots with dipping sauce), tornado fry (spiral, fried potato on a stick), potato salads (classic and Greek), fries with benefits (loaded fries and poutine), and spuds (baked potatoes with various toppings). I believe that customers can even customize their own build-your-own entree from a selection of bases, toppings, proteins, and sauces. The menu also lists mozzarella sticks and fountain drinks. I bought lunch from this restaurant once. The employees promptly and courteously served me. The tornado fry (4.5 stars) reminded me of potato chips but were softer and connected to each other on a stick. They tasted very good but could have used slightly less salt. The poutine gravy fries (4.5 stars) contained mozzarella, gravy, jalapeños, and parsley. I thought that they were some of the best poutine fries that I have tasted outside of Canada. I also bought a small fountain drink. The total price for my meal was $16 plus tax and tip.

Conveniently located in the food court at Ross Park Mall next to Panera. Everything is made fresh on site, so be prepared to wait 5-7 minutes for your food. If there are orders in front of you, it will be longer. When I went, there was only one person working. That's the main reason for the star deduction. The prices are a little high, but you get a lot of food and it's hot, crispy, and not soaked in grease.I got loaded tots. They were delicious! I ordered to them with ground meat, cheese, ranch and BBQ sauce. The only thing I didn't realize is the ground meat is taco meat so it was a little spicy.Overall, I'll go back, but maybe try something else. They have loaded fries, baked potatoes, and fresh made chips on a stick.

The fries and tater tots were alright. Heavily seasoned with seasoned salt. I was hoping the fries would be more gourmet in flavor and texture. I was expecting a boardwalk style fry that was different from the fries at the other mall eateries. Tater tots/potato crunchies weren't anything special either.The line was very slow, but I'll give it a small pass since it's a newer business. The baked toppings bar looked delicious, but the custom process seems very slow.

Forgive the photo, it was already getting attacked while I was taking a photo. It looks better fresh I swear. Vibe is awesome, being in a food court with limited space, they did amazing. Price is very cheap for being in a food court, not lacking on quality. Clean environment, and fresh ingredients Its a awesome concept opened by real people who are very passionate. That Being Said; there was too many sauces on our potato. Fact of the matter is, I like the flavor, but it was a little too Wet for our tastes. To the point we couldn't really enjoy it to its potential. Very new business, give them the attention and chance to grow. It's easy in a rush while trying to prove yourselves to get carried away with bringing out your best.I suggest ordering custom and Lite on Everything. Goodluck, and I'm sorry your first review wasn't perfect, but there is always another one.

The place is one of the best fast food places I've been! The fries and the baked potato were delicious!! The service was great, they were very kind and helpful! The decorations were wonderful, I want the potato bar light they have! Would recommend!!!
