Portman Farms Market

One of my favorite local stops. The cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing are amazing and huge for a very reasonable price. We also love the chicken salad. The deli is also great for grabbing a fresh sandwich for lunch.

My family loves their lemon pie and apple pie. Kids always get free cookies there. Very friendly staff.

I visited recently for a weekly lunch sandwich special. I really like the cute ambiance of the barn, and the food was pretty tasty, but the store didn't quite have the abundance and variety of "farm-fresh" items that I was expecting. In other words, you cannot do your weekly grocery shopping here! Unsurprisingly, the staff were friendly and there were many other locals also stopping in for lunch. I'd visit again... and will be curious what the "sandwich of the day" is the next time I stop by!

Portman's Farm is a Bridgeville staple for lunch specials and all of your deli/bakery needs. I used to come here all the time as a kid, so when I visited last week it was incredibly nostalgic. I had to stop in after seeing they had an Italian grinder special from 11-3. Oh man, was it GOOD. I can't wait to come back to try some of their other lunch specials whenever I have the chance. Not only are their lunch specials spectacular, but they have an amazing selection of baked goods, such as pies, cinnamon rolls, cookies, etc. When walked in, the place smelled like absolute heaven.

I don't give 5 stars easily. This place just changed my life. I've driven by here for months and now I wish I stopped sooner. I orders the Italian grinder with Mayo and a cream cheese cinnamon roll. First thing it was $10, yes $10. You can't get McDonald's for that price l. The sandwich was just amazing. Packed with meat and flavor, and not for nothing they put the mayo on the sandwich which is exactly how it should be. The bread was soft, the meat salty and flavorful, and it was huge. Next the cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing. It had a crunchy bottom packed with cinnamon. It wasn't very sweet just how I like it. It was absolutely one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. They have a full bakery and I will be back to try the pie. The staff was very friendly. This place was busy and my to go order had to be ordered an hour in advance. Do your self a favor and stop in here to get something to eat or shop their grocery store. Not only do they deserve your money but you're doing yourself a disservice not getting something to eat. Worth every second of my time and every penny I spent.

Love Portman Farms market!! I stop here on the regular to pick up my boars head lunch meat, which I have to say is every single time, super fresh like they have just started slicing it from a new package. I do appreciate that because for the price , it should be and some markets don't mind giving you some less than fresh lunch meat . The tuna salad here is amazing and I buy it by the quart, same with the seafood salad and pasta salad! Perfect place to go to pick up your summer picnic basics! Their Italian grinders are to die for, and any grinder for that matter- the gems of Portmans Farm are the deli, the bakery and their lunch specials. Make sure to stop any time you need a fresh and quick bite !

Great sandwiches and cookies - stopped an a whim on the way back from getting flowers and we're presently surprised!

What a hidden gem. I love stopping here for lunch as they have some of the best deli sandwiches as well as hot sandwich specials during the week. If you're visiting here for the first time, the set up could be a little confusing so here's the scoop. After you walk in to the left is the deli counter. This is where you order the cold stuff: sandwiches, deli meats, deli salads. FYI: Portman offers Boar's Head meats. My favorite cold sandwich is the smoked apple. In the back is the bakery counter. This is where you can get the baked goods and also the hot lunch specials. Portman offers something different everyday and my favorite has got to be the Reuben (on Wednesdays). Their Reuben is one of the best I've had; it's so good! The rest of the place is pretty self-explanatory: they offer some local goods in the right of the store and you pay at the cash register in the middle. I stop here as often as I can, and especially when I have a hankering for deli sandwiches!

I lived in Bridgeville for years, just off Bower Hill Road and this was hands down one of my favorite places to get food items. The barn store has a great floor plan and it makes for a fun browsing and shopping experience.How cool is it to pop into a barn with a deli and fresh sandwiches? In addition, often times there are homemade goodies to choose from as well.
