It's closed now and I wish it wasn't. It was a staple in our little town. I don't eat meat but they were known for their wings I guess. I did wish they had anything vegan and more selection and I regret not using them more so they would have stayed in business.

Very limited meat selection. Would not travel to get here - fine to stop if convenient. They make fresh rolls and the chicken was ok but they hardly had any other choices.

The owner is 3rd generation and truly cares about his products. He grinds steak trimmings in front of you fresh for hamburgers, cuts your steak to desired thickness and makes a mean smoked kielbasa that you need to preorder at certain times of the year. Well done sir!

While in the store last week for the first time I purchased some ham salad because it looked fresh. It was great. Much better than the supermarket stuff. This is a fine old fashion place complete with cutting block and wooden floor for that old-timey 50's -- 60's look. I'll be back even though it's pretty far from my neighborhood...

Went in today to buy a few steaks on a tip we got from a neighbor. Can't say that I'm real happy. I support local small business frequently and believe that they are key to the community. We received a flyer from our neighbor from the market advertising $9.99 lb " choice Boneless strip loins". When the gentleman came out and cut the steaks in front of us we were very excited... That is until we realized that the USDA stamp on the package said USDA certified Select. Now, for those of you who don't know the USDA stamps 3 levels of beef. Prime, Choice, and Select (from high to low) select is the grade you buy at Wal-Mart or a garbage butcher when you see filet for $5.99 lb. There is nothing wrong with this grade of meat, just no marbling of fat so it tends to be dry when you cook it. Seasoned, the steaks were ok... Just disappointed that he is not selling you what he is advertising.Be warned!!! Don't let him rip you off. $9.99 lb for select beef strip loin is very expensive.

I love this little gem of a Market hidden in Cheswick! Mom and Pop owned. Nice couple been in business over 20 years. If they don't have it they will get it for you. Prices are reasonable for a quick something you forgot!
