Lovely pub with great atmosphere. Has that local charm with a cold pint of Yuengling.

Laid back, pub atmosphere. Game room available, large room available. Good prices, good food. Pretzel sticks were soft and fresh, burgers were big and juicy. Probably best overall restaurant in Cresson.

This place has a very rustic feel to it. I went with my roommate and his family, when you first walk in it almost feels like you are walking into a Log Cabin. There is no hostess/host waiting to greet you, you just walk in & sit at a table of your choice. We were promptly greeted by our waitress shortly afterwords.We ordered a large pepperoni Pizza to share as our meal & also an order of fried cauliflower and buffalo chips as our appetizers. The buffalo chips were delicious! Just the right amount of buffalo and a nice dousing of seasoning, ranch came on the side and it complimented the buffalo chips very well. I didn't touch the cauliflower because I've never been a fan of it, but according to my roommate it was the bomb diggity dang! The pizza came out not far afterwards and it was delicious! It had the perfect cheese to sauce ratio and it was slightly crisp, equaling out to a fine treat!I finally got to try PJ's before I graduate from College and I had a very good time! I will probably be stopping by in the near future to try some other things on the Menu.

Service not impressive. They are just so disorganized. They have multiple people operating behind the bar and no one is in charge. It is pizza night and the first thing we are told is that it is a 35 min wait for pizza. WTF. One of these days they will figure it out. They were out of blue moon, then changed the keg because no one really knew it. Then they had to cut up the oranges, because no one prepped that. The kids working are unfortunately clueless and no one gives them direction or training. There was one guy that was on the ball, but he too seemed to have 25 jobs and couldn't focus. This place only stays open because there isn't anything else around. Competition would close them in a week.

Pj's Tavern is far from a 5 star restaurant, but it's good for a bite to eat when you're in Cresson. Pj's prides itself as an Irish pub, but, truth be told, you can find more American grub on the menu than Irish. The menu includes everything from burgers, wings, french fries, fish, salads, etc. Typical bar food. The waitresses, from my experiences, have always been friendly. Granted, the interior could perhaps use some updates here and there, but Pj's is good for a bite to eat in Cresson... Just leave your diet and health food at the door.

The food was good. Exceeded expectations given previous reviews. The service was a little slow and entre came before apps but it was really busy saint patties event. Bathroom was presentable. I really like their Cajun ranch. Would come back.

Ordered this from pj's the meat to bun ratio was perfect, cheesy, and wasn't dry. And the fries were nice and hot and pick up was fast and the staff are super friendly....definitely going again

Everyone goes here because it "used to" be the go to place back when the original owner ran it, but it has gone downhill big time with this new owner! The food is overpriced, the portions are obscenely small. One time I got cheesecake for a dessert and no joke, it was the size of an Oreo cookie. I told the waitress that it was insane how small it was and she responded with - but it's really good! Are you serious? I believe it was $7 and it was one bite! You know they're ripping you when you see the owner's expensive sports car parked out back! Nothing like not hiding how bad you're overcharging your customers! No thank you! It's not like the old days when you used to go and PJ actually owned it! Times have changed!

Great gathering place to hang out! Loved the blt sandwich i got, and wings are a must! Amazing service!

It is a dirty place to eat. The food especially the pizza is bad. It use to be a very good place to eat but no longer. The pizza crust taste like cardboard and that's an insult to cardboard. Would not recommend.
