If you like a thick and flavorful crust then the veggie pizza is the option for you. The employees were very nice. Apparently their old location burned down so they have been working out of a local bakery.

Before covid I love pizza Italia they were the best around now they're barely open and I can't catch a slice it's not 10:00 on a Friday night and they're closed all I wanted was a slice of pizza I went there two days ago for a slice of pizza and I'm having to go to lot 17 and spend $30 on a burger it's terrible the service little small neighborhood that's the people they're supposed to take care of but no they just care about f****** when they want to be open horrible never go there and I think I seen a big ass rat running out there back door cuz I live on Sapphire Way post review

Really excellent pizza. A Bloomfield standard. Better than most of the other places in Bloomfield (and we've probably tried them all). We usually just get mushroom or plain-we went rouge this day and added pineapple and chicken! Rebels, I tell ya! It was delicious-affordable and ready when they said. They did move locations on a temporary basis so confirm before you head out to pick up your pie!

Went back here after many years and found it is just as good as I remember. Square and traditional piza are both excellent!

I know I've Yelped this place before. Yet here I am being reminded to do so. I sometimes wonder if my reviews sink into a black hole lol. Also positive I've checked in here more than twice. But, I digress.I'm a Bloomfield resident and we have a couple of choices for pizza. I like this place. It's good for a late night slice or of across the street at Howlers watching bands and need a bite to eat.It's the kind of place you'd expect to see in New York. Service is friendly, blunt and fast. The pizza is decent for what it is-greasy, cheesy and good.

Good "standard" pizza. Lots of great pizza variants. We order a lot of pizza. Depending on our mood the order ranges from your standards (traditional sauce and cheese with toppings) to variants (bbq chicken, buffalo chicken, etc...). Pizza Italia does them all well. I am a particular fan of the buffalo chicken pizza (just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming). I'd also note that the wings are pretty solid as well.

This is a solid neighborhood pizza option. The first time I had it was through Froggy's as patrons can order from that menu. Hubs and I ordered the BLT to share. We weren't sure what to expect but it was quite good and did taste like a BLT, with mounds of shredded lettuce. I was late getting back one night and had no motivation to cook. I ordered through the Yelp app and made my way to Pizza Italia. The bus was running faster than anticipated (I know, right?) and my order still needed 10 minutes. No problem. I took a seat at the bench and the staff kept me up to date on the progress of the pizza. The place smells like dough baking, it's a wonderful scent. While saw the staff greeted and warmly interacted with all customers, great vibe. As soon as the pizza was ready, they sent me on my way.The small veggie pizza was delicious. The olives and peppers made for good flavor and softer flare. The amount of cheese made for lots of strings when you pulled a piece out. The crust was soft yet thick to hold the crust well. When hubs walked in after I ate, the smell of the pizza lured him and he ate three slices. Note the small has six slices.Great spot and friendly service. It's only takeout, so keep that in mind.

I have passed this place for years... I was looking for a place that did heart shaped pizza. My co-workers who live in Bloomfield suggested Pizza Italia !! We ordered our pizza & picked it up... it smelled so lovely on our way in to get it... they made me a perfect heart shaped pizza ! It was really good... the dough was fantastic !! I will definitely be back !! Also, the sauce is not sweet if you don't like that about Pittsburgh pizza. Happy to have found a new

So I got my pizza and my hoagie today from Pizza Italia and I do live in millville which it's in Bloomfield and the owner himself came and drop the food off very nice guy the food still is up to par one of the best pizzas and Pittsburgh I recommend everybody try them out they just remodeled and Bloomfield on Liberty avenue but was very pleased with the overall we'll definitely be ordering again

I'm giving them 5 stars based purely on my carry out experience since their dine in is closed due to a fire. Plain and simple. Crust and sauce is perfect. None of that fancy extra stuff that sometimes hampers the taste. Best thin crust Ive had in Pittsburgh
