Some of the best and most authentic middle easter food I've ever had. Do not recommend settling for their American food. This is a hidden gem serving comforting, savory, home cooked delicacies. The staff was kind enough to walk me through their menu and give recommendations. Incredible vibes inside too.

In town for Steelers vs Ravens Ordered Ranchero Steak pizza for delivery. Arrived hot and oh boy even my picky hubby loved it. Actually it was so good we ordered Meat lovers after game... pizza back to back it must be Good.

I work downtown and this place is great. I've had the gyro plate and the meatball sub. Fries are crispy, meatballs are good, bread is good, gyro is good. No complaints. I wanted to post their Mediterranean menu because the one online doesn't have pictures or descriptions , so I was never bold enough to order blind.

Absolute worse Gyro I have ever had. Barely any meat, very mediocre. Do yourself a favor and just enjoy a "legit" gyro somewhere else. Can't say much for other food items, because I did not have them, but if the gyro is that bad at a Halil restaurant, I can imagine the rest being a lackluster experience.

I found this place by accident when I left the theater next door. I walked in expecting to get a burger or salad, and the guy working recommended their unofficial menu, which was entirely Uzbek food. Let me tell you, it was absolutely tremendous! Skip the pizza, order some food you've never heard of. It will be great!

I was very unhappy with my experience at this restaurant. My colleagues and I are in town for a work trip. We stopped by because this place I've been recommended to us by a local. The place was almost empty when we walked in at about 11:55. There had been a list of specials outside so I asked if they had them written down inside. The gentleman behind the cashier said yes just a moment because he was on the phone. So we waited. And we waited. Then I ask again and he said yes, and he went into the back. He came back and proceeded to answer another phone call. Finally, an older gentleman asked if my order had been taken, and I said no, and so I proceeded to give him my order. The website has shown that they had a gyro feta salad. I ordered that. He seemed a little perplexed. So he asked if I had meant chicken feta salad. I said no, I preferred gyro. he then said OK you want Lamb/gyro salad. Not sure why he said lamb, maybe he didn't think I knew gyro meat was. But he said he could make it. My colleague who I've been standing next to me, giving her order to the younger gentleman who had previously ignored us, made what could only be described as a racially motivated comment. She had asked for something and when he went to confirm instead of asking her to repeat her order, he assumed that she had ordered chicken wings. She had not ordered chicken wings. That was the last straw for her and she left. My other colleague had pre-ordered online prior to us arriving, and her food came out last. She stated it was not that good. When I finally did get my salad, it was made with chicken. So I sent it back. The salad in the photo is what I received. There were approximately five little slices of gyro meat, whereas the version with chicken was covered withmeat. I can only assume, they were upset that I sent it back, and decided to stiff me on lamb. And they added French fries on my salad which was not in the description. Again, I assume to make the salad look full. I will never go back nor recommend it.

Don't waste your money! I ordered a gyro combo and the lamb was pretty much non-existent. They asked if I lived in Pittsburgh. I said no, and they pulled a fast one. Taking advantage. Same on you!

Everything about this was unnecessarily awful. When I arrived my order was not ready. That is not problem for me at all. I decided to use the rest room while their team finished up my order. I used the stall rather than the urinal to urinate. When I opened the door to the stall the manager or possibly owner scolded me for using the stall to urinate rather than a more solid deposit. 1) why are you (not literally) looking over my shoulder in the restroom. B) why are you upset with me for using your facilities in a perfectly functional purpose? And lastly, why did it bother so much to tell me, a paying customer, inferring that I used your restroom incorrectly.After that situation, I went to wash my hands and both soap dispensers were empty. Not like empty and some bubbles came out. No dry like they had needed to be replaced days ago. The soap refills were still in the dispenses so the empty handed potty police can't use the excuse of him replacing them as his purpose for being in there. Who knows how many employees had violated heath codes that day.I then was asked to get my own fountain drink that I had ordered. This also is not a problem for me. I am always willing to lend a hand to make things easier on everyone. The machine was out of ice and when I asked if they had ice they told me no. This may be true. Maybe the main ice machine in the back was down. Or maybe it was 30 minutes prior to close and did not want to fill up the machine again. I will never know. The warm soda and Ecoli infested pizza went right into the trash can. I will not be returning.
