Pizza Al's

This restaurant is located in the vincinty of the WVU campus and a hospital. I came here during the pandemic so, my options were limited. The place did not have a dine in option. You could order carry out via the phone or by walking in. There is not a ton of parking there and the staff was not overly friendly, they were not rude, but I would say that it was not first class service. They do not have any specialty pizzas so you also have to craft your own, al a carte style, from the toppings they have available.The pizza was ok. It was not one of the best I have had, but I was not bad either. It was ok.

This review is from a New Yorker. As everyone knows New Yorkers know Pizza. This place makes a good pie. Made to order pies only no slices. There is nothing more to say but if you want pizza this is the joint.

Most overrated pizza ever. This place has a cult following in Morgantown but I have no clue why. Their sauce is bland as paper and they put hardly any pepperoni on the pizza.

Pizza is good and has good flavor. Good New York style pizza. The crust is thin which is slightly different than New York pizza. I'm from the Bronx and have eaten lots of pizza from NY. The thin crust is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars but overall, it's very good.

Found a NY Style pizza place in Morgantown. I ordered my usual with sausage, pepperoni, and onion with Parmesan cheese sprinkled all around. It did not disappoint. The crust was thin as it should be with a nice slightly sweet tangy sauce. The sausage was homemade and grated or crumbled. It has a nice Italian spiciness to it which I really like. The pepperoni was small pieces and there was plenty of it. A three topping large was $20. A great value for a awesome NY Style pizza. You can't go wrong with Pizza Al's

Love the pizza but was very disappointed with the inconsistency of their policy regarding under 18 in bar area.I recently visited Pizza Al's Bar in Star City by the coliseum with my two-year-old grandchild, only to be asked to leave because of their "no one under 18" policy. While I respect the right of any establishment to enforce its rules, I was frustrated to see that there were at least six other children, roughly between the ages of 8 and 12, still in the bar. When I asked why the rule was being applied inconsistently, I was told that ownership didn't want babies there because they cry.To make matters worse, I was told I could go to the other side of the establishment. However, the whole reason I was there was to be with friends, and I didn't want to be ostracized. If the policy truly prohibits anyone under 18, then it should be enforced consistently--not selectively based on personal assumptions about how a child might behave.This kind of arbitrary enforcement makes for an unwelcoming and unfair experience. Families should be aware that, despite the posted rules, enforcement appears to be based on the whims of management rather than any clear standard. I won't be returning.

We got a 20inch half supreme & half pepperoni, large cheesy bread plus a salad. Everything was delicious. We definitely would recommend and we will order from Pizza Al's again.

Amazing Pizza, Immaculate service, and very chill ambiance. This is one of my favorite pizza places in Morgantown. The workers have always been so kind and respectful. I could not recommend you enough to come here.

Not bad pizza. Prices are great. It was quick and good. Only 3 stars because I'm getting increasingly annoyed with pizza places when I order and pay 2-3 dollars for EXTRA cheese and then they don't put extra cheese on it. This isn't the only time or place this occurs. Olive Oil, Fiori's, Nobbys, Fat Angelo's. yes, Been trying out different places for over a year now to find a good one that I know will deliver quality food and it's yet to be found. Each place has their great traits, but each place SUCKs when it's extra cheese. Is there training on how to quantify extra cheese that folks need? Extra cheese means, the normal amount PLUS another normal amount. This post is regarding the McMurray location. The photos will clearly show that there is no extra cheese. If it's that thin of a layer and i can still see toppings instead of just cheese, I paid for nothing.
