I was on the Board here years ago. It's a fabulous resource for children and families. One aspect is a shared play space where families can meet other families in an educational play space. The other side is the library, which loans toys to children to take home. It's a wonderful idea, as children don't always play with all their toys, this is a great way to recycle those toys and put them to good use.The toys are often better quality and educational value than the ones in stores. I especially love the handmade toys, they are wonderful. If you are looking for a place to donate toys, this is a great choice. Those toys will get used by hundreds of children. Same with the donation of money, they stretch their resources a long way.

This is a great place to bring crawling babies to preschoolers. They have a baby area for kids under two. Older children aren't allowed in so you don't have to worry about your little one getting run over by excited toddlers. For older kids they have play houses, trucks, balls, craft area, doll area, animals, little action figure st, two train tables, two restrooms with one changing table. Kids under one are free. First visit is free. After that it's $5 per visit per child, up to $10. Or you can choose one of three membership options. Forgot to mention they do have snacks and an eating area. Snacks are cheap from 50 cents. This place is awesome for a rainy or cold day. Only bad thing is hours vary and can change bc it's volunteer run.

What a wonderful resource for families in Pittsburgh! There are lots of toys and play structures for babies, toddlers, and older kids -there's even an arts and crafts room! A great place to socialize your baby. They even have coffee for grown ups. First visit is free so there's absolutely no reason why every family shouldn't try it at least once.

Super place to have a children's birthday party! The kids loved it, clean tidy, interesting toys to play with, convenient. Definitely heard other parents saying they were going to use it.
