Pittsburgh Taco Boys

I was in the area for work and needed a place to stop for lunch and wanted tacos. This spot was on my way and worked for me. I was greeted upon entry and was the only customer at the time. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a bottle of water. My food came up in 10 min and it was delicious. I was able to sit inside and eat which was nice too. If I'm in the area again, I will stop in.

Was craving some tacos and found Taco Boys on Yelp so decided to give it a try since it was close to my house and the pictures looked good. It's a small place with only a couple of stools/counter space to eat. We ordered at the window and our food was out pretty quickly. I got the three taco combo with chips and red salsa. I chose the chorizo tacos and I'm glad I did. They had a great flavor and I really liked the size of the tacos, definitely get a good portion size for what you pay for. The chips and salsa were pretty good. The chips reminded me of the chips from Moe's. Definitely recommend stopping in here for a lunch or quick bite to eat if you love Mexican cuisine.

Perfect place for a quick bite!! Got 2 chorizo tacos with chips and salsa and everything was great! The staff was so friendly & the food came out so quick! Very tiny space, but they have some bar stools against the wall to sit so it was perfect. Will definitely be back!!

So happy to have found such a good taco spot nearby! We ordered the 3 taco meal deals with a variety of tacos - chicken thigh, ground beef, fish (seasonal), chorizo, beef shoulder and hanger steak. They were all delicious & top rankings were chicken thigh, ground beef, beef shoulder and hanger steak. The fish was good but a little soggy but I'm thinking it's because we got it to-go and ate at home. We also had the meat and cheese empanada which was amazing!! The shell was really light, flaky and crispy. Their chips are soooo good, possibly my favorite tortilla chips ever. I didn't love their salsa but all of the other food made up for it. We placed a to go order and all of the food was ready in 15 min. Staff was super friendly! There is parking all around and this spot is mostly take out. In the summer, they have an outdoor area with picnic tables. Can't wait to return!

Great local spot for take out tacos! The spice level was mild, which I love, so that you can build your own heat with the sauces. I had the beef & cheese and chicken enchilada empanadas and my husband had the pork & pineapple quesadilla. We both loved our selection. The queso was delicious and the chips were fresh and perfectly crispy.

I got the boyrito with pork butt it was huge and delicious. I will definitely be going back to try the tacos. The guys are so nice!!

Maybe I'm just picky? But this place was okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. I got the 2 taco and chips combo. While the price is excellent and portions good. The flavor? Lacking. I got the steak tacos. The tortillas were fresh and you can tell they were homemade. The steak was cooked well and there were fresh ingredients. Loved that. It just lacked flavor. I mean it was okay. Nothing to rave about. I'm glad I added the jalapeños and radishes on top for crunch and some flavor. Nothing tasted seasoned. Just bland. I got the Verde salsa and it was sweet like it should be. Drenched my tacos in it for flavor as well. The service was quick and friendly. If you want to sit down in the building, good luck. It's like a bar style but you're facing a wall. They do have outdoor seating for appropriate weather, but it's more of a "to go" establishment.

Got the classic burrito with chicken and a side of chips and salsa. It was great! Awesome flavor! Will definitely be coming back again.

Stopped in and they were busy. A steady stream of people and some phone in orders. There are a few stools to sit on along a couple of walls if you want to dine in but primarily take out. There is a small low table with some different hot sauces that you can put in a small cup. The tacos are rally filled up and good. My chorizo and pork butt tacos were really top notch and was able to add some fresh jalepeno. The tacos are topped with salsa verde, onions and cilantro. Added chips and salsa to my order. A tasty green salsa came with the chips that were very good.Looking forward to trying some of the other items on the menu including the Boyrito and quesadillas. On the door there was a list of some specialty tacos for Lent.

Omg - love this food! I haven't met something I haven't loved. You will want to lick to to go container clean, that good!
