Piper's Pit Bbq and Pig Roasts

Wow... I purchased the Nasty John Brisket Sandwich and it was slammed full of meet. They are not shy. The hamburger itself was a full meal. I don't see how they can do that. That was easily a $12 sandwich and have absolutely no complaints. Also I purchased cookies and brownie. The brownie was soft a cooked perfectly. It was like a dream come true :) I would recommend this place to anyone!! Absolutely love it. I am from Louisiana and finding this place was a plus!!

This is an excellent spot for BBQ that stands up against many of the well-known places I've tried in and around Pittsburgh. Got the brisket sandwich on this visit (amazing), but I will be back to try the ribs. Sides and desserts were top notch as well.

This is a minute down the road from my house and I've been dying to try it! It was quick service and the staff was extremely friendly. I got a pulled pork sandwich, the bbq sauce was tasty and the bread was extremely fresh. The Mac and cheese was also delicious. My boyfriend got their shack stack with brisket and chips that he said he'll be getting it again. The place is simple and delicious. That's really what makes BBQ so good. I can't wait to go back!

Piper's Pit catered our kids HS grad party. We are about an hour away from his home base. We had about 90 folks attend. Ben arrived early, and prepared. Ben finished the pig onsite. The pig was fantastic. The sides were equally as good too. Ben is very friendly, and he knows BBQ, which is very rare in this part of the world. Thank you for making this day a smashing success.

I thought getting good authentic barbecue in Western Pennsylvania was impossible, that was until I ate here. The meat was flavorful and fall apart tender. I got the shack stack (brisket on a bed of Mac and cheese with crushed chips on top) and it was incredible, I will absolutely be getting it again. I almost considered giving this place 4 stars due to the fact that they only take cash but that would have been a disservice to the amazing food.

I stopped in the Shack during its opening weekend. Ben, the owner, caters and operates the bbq roadstop on top of holding a full time job. Total props to him! And let's just say, he should never stop doing his side business because his food is the bomb diggity. The day we were here, they were out of ribs (so I'll definitely be back to try those). I tried the Shack Stack which is mac and cheese, topped with your choice of meat, and choice of topping. I got it with brisket and slaw. The brisket was moist and totally flavorful. Paired with perfectly al dente, slightly salty mac and cheese and creamy, yet crunchy slaw, the Shack Stack was a taste of heaven. What a perfect combo of flavors and textures! The hubby got the Big Nasty John sandwich which is brisket, pulled pork and slaw. It had a healthy portion of meat and the crunchy slaw was a perfect addition to balance the flavors. As our side, we got some chips which seemed homemade. As if the food wasn't flavorful enough, he's got two types of sauces to go along with the food: bbq and buffalo ranch. Both were really good but I preferred the bbq with my brisket. However, I could see myself preferring the buffalo ranch with chicken so I can't say I can pick a favorite. Aliquippa is a bit of a drive for me coming from Pittsburgh but it was worth it. The service was extremely friendly and to see the owner's passion for food, you'll want to keep coming back to provide your support.

We stopped by the shack and had the Big Nasty John sandwich (pork, brisket, and cole slaw all on a Mancini roll). It was all great and I can't wait to go back. The specials have all sounded amazing as well. Now that I have tried it in person, I may be looking for booking catering in the future!

Our guest from our vow renewal still talk about the amazing pig and sides. I'm a snob when it comes to Mac N Cheese and boy were my expectations succeeded. Let's not forget about the BBQ sauce, can you say out of this world. Everything was awesome. We absolutely recommend Piper's Pit BBQ!!!!Great to work with and superior service and food.

I have used their services many times for catering and it is very good. Prices are great too! The BBQ stand on Broadhead rd is also very good and convenient
