It's a fun place. We go as a family to the Galactic Bowling. Always ask for the side with the couch as if you get the tables you get crowded out. My other criticism is the lack of food available. They need an agreement with the pizza place in the same plaza to provide food rather than just their snack bar, which only has fries and tots. Staff were very nice.

They changed the weekend rates, in my opinion, for the better:$30 bucks for one hour, $50 bucks for two hours, shoe rentals included. It covers one lane up to six bowlers; I'd still advise calling ahead for availability. French Fry bar - they killed the multiple items they used to sell and are sticking to what they can just crush, and, they do.I spoke with the new staff and this new weekend structure allows them to better dictate when they will have an open lane (cuts the variable wait time question), and the fry bar ends the fact that they were losing a ton of money on the food - it's more of an added benefit than anything else, it certainly isn't keeping the doors open. All of these changes make perfect sense to me.This remains my favorite alley in the 'Burgh. I played a SICK amount of games under the new rules here with my kids a week or so ago. We crushed it again today. (The new pricing saved me money and actually kicked out "campers" that would occupy an alley for countless hours (with a 15-20 buck bill) while not using it). Frankly, their new pricing is a BIG win for those that go to play...if you want to play, it's actually now less expensive.I can't opine on the weekday rates - please call the business if you are wondering. But, I'm sure they are fair.

First off it's a BYOB establishment so come prepared. The facility is small but well kept and clean. They take credit card and the staff was very pleasant. FYI, bowling is not cheap. It's $4 a game per person and with 4 of us on one lane and shoe rentals we spend $57 for three games. We will go back.

It may not be flashy like the rest, but we had a blast at these lanes last weekend! We booked here for a birthday party considering it was centrally located and also the fact that it is BYOB. It was a Saturday night and it was only our group and two or three other groups as well. There were no disco lights or DJs (though they were playing good top 40), yet we still had a great time. It's fairly small (only about 20 lanes) and our balls got stuck a few times, but for price you can't go wrong. For renting shoes and playing two games I paid less than $10.If you're looking to bowl a game or two and drink a few beers out of your cooler then I'd recommend here. If cosmic bowling and new technology is more your thing, pass it.

Great activity for a cold and crappy pittsburgh Saturday. Had a coupon which I got for submitting my email. It was worth it, buy a game and get a game. I still have my yelp coupon too for checking in which I will use next time. Busy when we got there around 1030 or so and the crowd thinned considerably. And, oh yeah, I beat my hubby...2 games to 1. Tee hee! :)

We had our daughter's 17th birthday party with 2 hours of bowling. The Staff did a wonderful job taking care of all the arrangements. I thought the cost for two hours of bowling with pizza and soda was a very fair price. It was very clean and everyone was so friendly.

So disappointed with this bowling alley. Visiting my sister from out of town with my 5 year old niece and my daughter. We arrived about 10 minutes early before our scheduled 4 pm reservation. We got our shoes and was told we would be on lane 7. After wsiting behind the lane a lady came up to us and said we would be on lane 12. We walked down to that lane and it looked occupied. In reality it was the people on lane 11 that had been using that area. We got situated and started at 4 so not late. At 4:48 our lanes were turned off!!!! We went up to counter and were informed time starts when we sign in. We were NOT told this when checking in. For $30 plus $9 for bowling shoes we only basically got 45 minutes of bowling time which amounted to 1 game and started the second game and was shut down at the start of the second frame. There was NO ONE waiting to get on our lanes or many of the lanes for that matter and feel they could have turned our lane back on so we could at least get our full hour we paid for. Additionally the woman at the counter was pretty rude about it! Unlike reviews I read before we came to the alleys, this is not a family friendly place and a ripoff!!!!

Yo this is my spot! No place better than to grab your crew, case of brews, and hit some pins. Chuck is the man! He turns the tunes up when you ask. All bad reviews can suck it. I'll never bowl anywhere else.
