Penn Gyros & Kebab

Penn gyro is a good restaurant for those that love Lebanese cuisine or Mediterranean! The gyro is not Greek gyro, I was disappointed but not a bad gyro. I will not return but for those that love this type of cuisine it's a good place ! Recommend for others but not for me.

I seen it was a 4.6 so I had to try only to be disappointed with this mess lamb gyro was not good the meat was gritty and very dry. the pita was great very thin soft and tasty. samosas was spicy and seasoned needed and sauce for them. Fries were hot just not done enough cooked them on a high temperature so the inside is not done. Service was great nice gentleman.

We ordered a lamb seekh kebab and a mixed grill to take out. Since it was our first visit, the owner was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. The extra sauces he packed along with the meals were really tasty and enhanced the dinners. We both enjoyed the food and felt the meals were good values. We will definitely go back again. It's a small shop, so the ambiance is good for a quick bite. Since we prefer a relaxing dinner, it was the right call to eat the food at home. We wish them success as we appreciate a business like this close to home.

I got a takeout order so I didn't have a lot of contact with the staff, but they were very friendly and even asked for feedback on their food after we ate it.My husband ordered a schwarma and I got a chicken seekh kebab platter. We requested the tzatziki on the side and they happily complied with our request. The tzatziki sauce is incredibly velvety, rich, and flavorful. It's the best I've ever had. I'd never had chicken seekh kebab before, but it was very flavorful, moist and well-prepared. The saffron rice that it came with was colorful and fresh. The saffron flavor was a good accompaniment to the spicy (very hot!) kebab as was the tzatziki. The schwarma was stuffed with fresh salad and on a fresh pita. I don't know if they make their own bread on the premises, but it was soft and of good quality.

This area needed a Gyro place quite badly, and I'm glad that this place does the food justice. I got shicken shawarma (like the Avengers scene) and it was DELICIOUS. wow was a amazed to say the least! They reslly load up on portions: I got so filled from a $10 meal. It was super good even though I forgot to take a picture (this damned old brian haha ). If you want to try some scrum-diddly-umptious Halal food, definitely go hear! Service was also prompt and kind.

Great business, very friendly staff and excellent food. Not your typical gyro, and their house made white sauce is to die for. Give them a try!

Just picked up couple wrap sandwiches. Food was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The chicken was very moist and came with a red and white sauce that added extra flavor to the meal. The owners were very kind and packed extra items we needed. Glad to see a restaurant open in Monroeville for a tasty and quick meal. Can't wait to go back!

The gyros we got to go were disgusting. Frozen "gyro" meat, inexplicable cucumber chunks on the sandwich, way too much thin sauce that made the whole thing a soggy mess. Their other food might be ok but why take the chance. Will not be back.

The service for pick up was alright . Nothing to say about the Ambiance as it is a very small place to pay and collect the food. The food was absolutely terrible. The cook has no idea of what and how Kebabs are made. They were pathetic. The bread is nothing compared to a NAAN.Will not recommend this place to anyone and will never return.Thank you.

I ordered the gyro. It didn't taste like gyro meat at all. It wasn't even tender. I thought theirs would have been the best
