Great local, family owned bakery/coffee shop. They have a nice selection of baked goods, coffees, specialty drinks and rotating soup specials and other small food items (sandwiches) for breakfast and lunch. Upon walking in you take a number and they move through the numbers very quickly, I have never waited long to be waited on. My favorite is the Ho Ho cake and the slices of other specialty cakes. It's a good way to try a cake out before you commit to an entire cake in that flavor. Go check it out and treat yourself to something sweet!

Visiting from Arizona and this place is walking distance from my Dad's. Went in for a latte and donut but came out with a dozen cookies too. This place is like home because the cookies I've eaten so far taste just like my families recipes. Yum! Especially the chocolate chips. Their buttercream is light and fluffy, not dense like I'm used to. Even the latte is wonderful! I ate a buttercream filled donut. Filling was generous and tasted fresh. A lot of donuts you buy taste like stale oil because they don't change the oil often enough. Apparently Patti's replaces it often. I hate when it isn't because I end up burping that nasty flavor all day. I really wish we had this in Arizona. Patti's if you have family in the Phoenix area, convince them open a location! Service was friendly too. Must visit when in the area I hope I can stop by once more before I leave!

I'm so happy to have stumbled across this local gem. I was searching for a bakery that did not add raisins in the carrot cake, and I found a winner. This bakery makes fresh carrot cakes and other specialty cakes in 6" form every morning, and they sell then first come, first served. My mom wanted carrot cake for her birthday, so this was perfect.The cake was soft and fluffy, and the cream cheese was rich and creamy. This has the right amount of carrot peices and a good mixture of walnuts inside. This has to be the best carrot cake in Pittsburgh. They also had other goodies like specialty coffee, sandwiches, donuts, and other sweet treats. I love the variety and quality of the baked goods and friendliness of the staff. Can't wait for my next order.

Every year for my birthday I travel to local-ish bakeries and I purchase lots of sweet treats. This year I chose Patti's as I heard they sell cake slices and I've been following them on Facebook. This year as my family is getting smaller, I decided to go the route of cake slices (and other treats) for my birthday instead of a birthday cake. As I walked in, the bakery smell of all things sweet is excellent; there is a number machine to take a number and I was 123; they were on 119 and this gave me time to peruse the cases. The gal that waited on me was friendly and patient as I had curious questions and I was happy to see another gal brought out brownies in that time, which is a staple for me. Everything looks delicious! So far, I've had a bite of the ho-ho cake (scrumptious), a thumbprint, and half of an apricot paczki which was delightful.

Patti's cakes and pastries are top notch! Everything is homemade and always tastes so fresh. The lady locks are my absolute favorite. Be sure to place an order ahead of time - they don't always have them. Their cakes are absolutely gorgeous. They have the prettiest cakes for holidays - I love their snowmen cakes. Their icing is sweet, but not overly sweet. The cookies they offer are ones that my grandma use to make. I love that their menu sticks to local traditions. Get your holiday orders in early, you don't want to miss out!

We ordered a birthday cake (they were the only ones who could do the logo my kid wanted) and it was INCREDIBLE. Also got some pastries and a little cheesecake. The staff was so helpful and the cafe itself is really cute although we didn't dine in.

Its menu includes breakfast pastries, cookies, cupcakes, rolls, specialty cakes (e.g., wedding, anniversary, birthday, and graduation), and even non-baked goods such as soups and espresso drinks. Prices are reasonable.For Easter, my family purchased a chocolate cake, a white cake, a strawberry pie, and lady-lock cookies from Patti's. My family members and I thought that these desserts were fresh and tasted good, but we prefer the flavors of desserts from a few other bakeries. I would feel happy to try many of Patti's other desserts, including her cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, apple strudels, cold-dough apricot cookies, s'mores cookies, cheesecake, carrot cake, sfogliatelle, etcetera.Please note that some desserts must be ordered in advance, and catering is available.

This place has the Best cake I've ever had. There are so many varieties of sliced pieces you can get. I have loved everyone I've tried so far!

Oh my God, the donuts were to die for! Well worth the trip if you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. So many delicious-looking treats... not to mention coffee. I'll definitely be back!

I cannot stop bragging about both of my experiences here! First I stopped in after a night shift and the staff was so kind and patient with me. I picked out four wonderful pastries, a coffee and pre ordered my birthday cake. The cake was so appetizing and delicious that I broke into it at midnight on my birthday, had another piece for breakfast and wrote on the box for the others in my house to not eat all my cake! Delicious, moist, so flavorful and beautifully decorated. This will become a yearly tradition for where I get my cake!
