Fantastic experience! Hands down the best Italian food my husband and I have ever had. The bruschetta was amazing as an appetizer. Husband had the mushroom ravioli. I had the carbonara (no photo of that as I was too busy devouring it!). I had the Chianti to drink (lovely) and my husband requested a Negroni cocktail which they accommodated (and it was great!). We ordered the tiramisu to go which was also good! Service was great! Our server was lovely and attentive and we were visited by multiple staff members who checked in on us. They also accommodated our large party of 11-you do need a reservation.

Pastaio proved to be a great find for us. We drove 50 min to eat here. To be sure, we overall enjoyed our meal, but there were a few small items present that need to be noted. Not deal breakers by any means.The facility is not what I expected. Not bad, but viewing the website will make you believe you are going to an old school open kitchen Italian Cucina. That is not the case. The dining area is generally small /tight. Easy to hear the table next to you. I did notice some ceiling tikes with water-stains on them near light fixtures. Not a good look.We had a 6:15 reservation and arrived 12 minutes early as a party of 2. Many tables were open at that time. While awaiting our table, a party of two came in and stated they had not made a reservation. This non reservation party was taken straight to a table. We stood there another 15 minute waiting for ours. I found that very strange. Once seated we had a wonderful server. She was experienced, attentive and knew the menu front to back. A+ for her and overall staffing levels seemed high.We had the special appetizer of the night Mozzarella "Cigars" which was moz wrapped in a phyllo like dough and deep-fried served with a house made spicy honey drizzle.My wife had the Carbonara, and I had Farfalle with Bolognese. The entrees did not include a salad or soup course, but portion size was great. The food was excellent. Fresh and well plated. Looked fantastic. We ate every bite.We split a tiramisu and took one to go for our daughter.Price is exceedingly reasonable. The food quality/portion size/price ratio is off the charts greatWe split an app and dessert had 2 excellent entrees and wife had a glass of wine, plus a second dessert to go.......all for under $80 before tipThat is insanely good for this quality of elevated Italian cuisine 100% recommendation

Definitely you should have a reservation. The service was polite and the wait was short even though they were very full. Homey atmosphere, like your having dinner at your friends home. The food is delicious and served with perfection. It's incredible that a small town restaurant has a five star feel.Prices are very reasonable for high quality delicious Italian cuisine with many delicious options to consider.The atmosphere is warm and inviting, clean and Muzak is pleasant and low to allow conversation. Excellent wine selection and served like I'm a high roller in New York City!

The food is delicious. Last time we went, two of us had pasta and one had fish and the were all good. The service is fine, but not outstanding.

Food service ambiance. This place has it all. Try everything. It's all amazing. Mozza changers are so delicious. Everything is prepared to perfection. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing and delicious and every other positive word out there. Small space with lots of character. Definitely make a reservation if you can because this homemade scratch kitchen is popular. We started with the fritto misto and zucchini. We had the special seafood ravioli and carbonara. Save room for dessert because it is tasty too, we tried an assortment and took the rest home, tiramisu, torta Della Nona and Gelato.

I've never left there with anything less than a spectacular meal! We've always had exceptional service and love the hospitality extended from Guiseppe and Vincenza. The intimate atmosphere makes you feel like family. !

Pros: The food was fantastic! Personable server. Fast service. Great ambiance. Cons: hefty surcharge for debit card usage which was not disclosed until bill/receipt brought back. Undisclosed fee for "bread service"; very expensive.

Food. I did take out so portions were great. I was educated about restaurant while given a complimentary beverage. Good was very good !
