It would be great if you could actually inform customers on your social media accounts when a show or event is canceled. Drove 3 hours this Sunday to be informed that the show was canceled upon our arrival. The first thing out of the bar tenders mouth was: I don't know why they don't ever update when these things happen. Clearly, you have the ability to repost other organizations that are properly communicating their changes, so I suggest you do the same for your own business. What a disappointment and a waste of gas and time. I find it quite hilarious that your reps make fun of another bar and their cover charge when your location looks and is handled the way it is. Could this have been an innocent mistake? Yes, but even after we walked in and out, there was still no update. Luckily, we were able to tell another group of people in the parking lot not to waste their time, and they also started calling people who were on the way. This is exactly how businesses lose patrons.

I can't really say how this place is on a high activity night. Been here from time to time on slow days and appreciated the incredibly comfortable and welcoming vibe. Great place to drink alone without being pressured to engage in conversation. Also huge props to their Tuesday bartender - don't think I caught his name but amazing guy and an absolute scholar of pop culture classics. While this bar's most obvious competitors range between exclusionary "upscale" watering holes and sketchy dives, this place seems to exist in a safe and happy medium between those extremes.Just as a post-script: fwiw while this is definitely a location where people go to see if they have a chance at hooking up with strangers, seems generally friendly to those of a demi- or asexual nature.

My neice recently came out and I wanted to find a good gay bar to take her to while she was visiting me in Pittsburgh. Saw this place and the reviews were good so we decided to pop on over. The night started slow but it got busy for karaoke. The vibe and atmosphere were great, drinks were cheap and strong, and service was top notch.

As I am writing this P Town just celebrated nine years of business. Funny, I just discovered it about a year ago. Nine years and here I am just starting to frequent. I could probably chalk this up to the fact that you would not think of a bar on this stretch of Baum Blvd. One that is located across from a car dealership and between two pizza delivery places. I kind of considered this section of Baum a dead zone. This is not your typical setup for a bar. When you walk in you technically can't see all the space available. Because when you do walk in, you are blocked by a wall that guides you right into the bar area. This area can be quite congested at times, especially when they are holding an event. P Town is like a mix of all the other gay bars in the city, you see a little bit of those bars in this one location. Along with the bar you have a seating area/dance floor, stage, pool table, and DJ booth. Televisions along the wall, some on a local station (sports or otherwise) others airing specials/events held at the bar. From karaoke to drag queens, strippers to dance parties this place seems to be able to hold them all. Dependent upon the night the clientele can be a little grabby. However the employees are professional enough to outweigh that. Drinks are standard for any bar and prices match as well. If you are a beer drinker they do have a list of what beers they have hanging on the wall so you don't have to keep guessing for what you want. Things to note: Every fourth Saturday of the month is 'Bear Night,' ATM available inside, credit accepted if you want to run a tab, strippers every so often, there are snacks near the door (25 cent required for snack), parking is usually across the street in the customer parking lot for the car dealership or you can park on one of the nearby streets (further of a walk). Yes, this is a smoking bar, you don't like it, don't come here. No one use to complain like this when smoking was deemed cool and acceptable everywhere. Every single bar you go to in the city has smoking, however some of the other places have designated areas for that smoke, it is the business' prerogative whether or not they allow smoking.

One of the best dive bars around. Cheap but good drinks and a super friendly staff. I'm so excited for the Third Annual White Trash Bash coming up next Monday.

Pretty good divey vibe, and the bartenders were pretty nice. It's cool that you can get cup of noodles. The karaoke DJ was an absolute dickhead. He made me feel so unwelcome just because I was nervous to put my song in and I left in tears. Karaoke is is supposed to be fun, dude.

What a great place. My only concern would be over the prices for drinks. The first round of a single tall bourbon and ginger ale and Truly cost $19.25, okay maybe their prices went up since the last time we visited--the second round, just ginger ale, and a Truly, $18.75. The third round, before I ordered I asked the bartender how much a Truly was, $5.00 a can. Okay, and for a cup of just ginger ale? $3.00. I asked him to explain how my last round cost $18.75 for a cup of ginger ale and a Truly. Of course, he couldn't but he did attempt to make it right by giving us a free $8.00 round after we had paid close to $40 for what should have been maybe $25.00. I'm not sure if this was a scam because we aren't regulars but I'm sure there is something fishy going on there.Go, enjoy the place but be mindful of what you are paying for your drinks.

I've been here for karaoke and for Jellyfish and both were very fun!! Everyone was very chill and welcoming. I really loved Jellyfish - the music and lights were so good, there were so many different kinds of people there, and the drinks are cheap and strong lol. The bartenders were also moving fast and were pretty nice considering how crowded and busy it was and how drunk everyone was lol so shout out to them. We ended up staying until the bar closed which I've never done before can't wait for the next one!
