This place has the very best Ice cream on town. Milkshakes are the best with sooo many flavor combos. Family friendly and affordable. This place is go to in the summer for me

If you like Hershey's ice cream, you'll love this place. We got a chili dog. It had cloves in it which I hated so we put it in the trash. Cute place would be nice at night

Yikes. So, usually this place is decent. It's not phenomenal, but for the area, it's usually okay. I've only been here maybe 10 times total. Today though, poor customer service. Got a simple order of two small orders of ice cream and cheese fries. The one ice cream was to be in a cone and the cone immediately had a hole in the middle of it. Looked like someone's thumb went through the cone and they tried to cover it up with a napkin. As soon as we sat down it broke all over my girlfriend and fell on the table. We went up and asked for a cup and told the worker what happened and she just handed over the cup. No apology or compensation. Usually when I eat here, the ice cream (if they have the flavor I want) 50% of the time tastes freezer burnt. Usually in the beginning of the season it doesn't though, so today it was good.Today the fries? Yowza...all I tasted was very old oil with some salt and canned cheese. Which the cheese was expected from a small town mediocre ice stand. They do have a large variety of flavors, but most of the time I have to change my order due to the lack of inventory. And like I said above, towards the end of the season get ready to taste freezer burn. Their prices are low and portions high too. Which is nice.

Good food, great customer service, and all-around awesome experience! Our family of 4 (+dog) stopped here on a Wednesday night during a cross-country road trip, and we all left feeling happy and satisfied. The food was good, the ice cream was better. I had a footlong chili cheese dog and some popcorn shrimp, which were fried nicely. Our family also liked the spinach salad with bacon and fresh berries, the patty melt, the meatball hoagie, and the macaroni bites.The 5-scoop sampler of 5 "mini" scoops was VERY generous in portion size--definitely could be shared among 2+ people. As an avid ice cream afficianado, I was a little sad I couldn't finish it all by myself, but the flavors I chose were all excellent. The dog liked his Grizz sundae too.The staff were all very friendly and polite. The wait time for the food was reasonable, and our order was correct.At the moment, they are only serving food + ice cream during the weekdays, and closing is 8pm. On weekends they only serve ice cream. There is outdoor seating, and they also have a drive-through. We were the only ones there for dinner around 7:30, but we did see 3-4 cars using the drive-through while we were there.One thing that is pretty unique here, which I think might be a regional thing, is an ice cream flavor called Teaberry. It tastes a bit like one of those after-dinner soft pillow mints--very bizarre, but worth a taste!

When you are on a long road trip it's so tempting to stop at the nearest drive thru to get predictable food fast. Today my travel buddy took a chance and stopped here. AHMAZING. Even the playlist is spectacular. The chili on the dog is slightly sweet with a nice smoky bite. The pizza burger helped my buddy "achieve nirvana." It was really well seasoned with a hint of Italian sausage - topped with marinara, pepperoni and provolone. The fries were good and the soda had free refills. DO NOT pass this place up!!

Do not order the fish basket ! No fish in breading! The fish was less than a 1/4 inch thick and looked like the skin of a fish. When I brought it to their attention, a nice young lady said it looks like there is fish in it and because I partially ate it they could not do anything about it. I asked her to try it and let me know what she thought of it. She declined. The dinner was a disappointment. Not the usual standard for OTT. Not sure I'll return. Where's the quality control?

I know this is like a greasy spoon ice cream joint but their burgers are the freaking best. That's it they are just that good. Too bad they close in the winter.

Over the Top was a fun place to go with friends when I was in high school. I remember the food being good (I usually got a grilled cheese) and the ice cream being really good. I recently visited DuBois and figured it was a good place to stop for food since it is all outdoor seating. I got a hoagie, it would've been top-notch if it wasn't so dry. My fiance got chicken tenders that came out pretty embarrassingly. They were tiny and chewy and looked way overcooked. Their appetizers are pretty good though, my friend who went with us got their zucchini sticks and those were quite satisfying. Our meals did come with freshly made chips that were delicious though! We both finished our chips over our other foods. Service is always wonderful and the workers are very friendly and accomodating. I think I'd definitely go back, but probably stick to appetizers/sides and ice cream.

Ordered a small vanilla cone, and it was freaking huge and couldn't finish it! Before that, had an all beef dog w/chili and small fresh cut fry.l and side of ranch. Both delicious- the chili was homemade with a hint of relish! This place fools you from the outside! Great experience!

This used to be one of my favorite places to go but now it's become so expensive and not worth the money. The product is so cheap but they charge top dollar. I recently noticed that they'll be opening this month and I really hope they made their prices more reasonable if not this will be my final visit.
