We came here on a Friday afternoon when in Easton. We didn't have a reservation and the staff and owner helped make time for us to enjoy dinner. Out of the Fire was recommended by a local who told us that this is his go to restaurant for special occasions. I understand why.The staff were wonderful. Our server Taylor, was extremely helpful in describing the dishes and guiding us to make superb selections. We started with the special appetizers-green beans and the corn and goat cheese. I especially enjoyed the corn which was crunchy and sweet, and spiced with small flakes of hot pepper and green onions. My favorite dish was the Prince Edward Mussels. The mussels were beautifully prepared and served in an absolutely extraordinary garlic and caper sauce. This sauce could literally be a soup. Next we enjoyed the Maitake mushroom pizza. This was delicious with a fantastic crust. It's thicker than thin New York style and thinner than Chicago deep dish. The crust had a really nice flavor and texture.I enjoyed the draft kombucha which was light and refreshing. After what we had eaten, there was no room for dessert!

We tried Out of the Fire over the weekend for our Valentine's Day date and it was pretty good! We made a reservation and had to wait a bit, but understandable with it being a holiday weekend. We got seated and the ambiance was very nice. They had a few specials so we decided to try the ricotta cheese appetizer. It was delicious and we really enjoyed it. We each got a drink to start as well. I had a cocktail and my husband tried a beer. They have a great drink menu. We then ordered dinner - I got salmon and tried a cup of their mushroom soup, and my husband got the wagyu burger. We were offered bread after our appetizer, which we found odd, but opted to have it since I figured it would be good with my soup (sadly it came out with our meals, after I had finished the soup). Our entrees were very tasty and very generous serving sizes. I enjoyed my salmon and all of the attention to detail with the ingredients. We ate our meal and had ordered another round of drinks - me opting for a white wine and my husband with another one of their yummy IPA offerings. We would definitely come back! Thanks for a great date night.

Cozy Atmosphere, Mixed ExperienceOut of the Fire Cafe has a cozy, rustic vibe, but my dining experience was a bit hit or miss.Food: *The mushroom soup was plentiful and tasty, served quickly. *The Thai pork belly eggs has a tangy taste and flavorful, thanks to the gochujang. *The salmon was disappointing for $38. While cooked nicely, the purée was bland, and there were too many potatoes. The clams were just okay. I wouldn't order the salmon again despite the waiter's recommendation. *The highlight was the banana dessert--a must-try for dessert lovers! The warm, sugar-coated bananas paired with cold vanilla ice cream were phenomenal. *Service:Service was decent (7/10). The waiter was knowledgeable with the dishes and checked in, but the salmon and deviled eggs took 35 minutes, which felt slow. Sitting near the kitchen, I overheard staff complaining and missing parts of orders, which didn't leave a great impression. *Overall:While some dishes were good, the food and service don't fully justify the high prices. If you go, skip the salmon and save room for the banana dessert--it's worth it! I did hear another party thoroughly enjoy their salmon, and so to each their own.

I wish I had better things to say as I really had high expectations given what I'd heard from friends. Here's the good--the place is super cute and has a nice patio and the view is gorgeous. Too bad someone was smoking in front of the patio so I had to deflect cigarette smoke during my meal. The smash burger was not a smash burger and was not very good. Server was attentive but didn't seem to address that we had complaints about the burger. Might give it another try but not sure.

I absolutely love this place and am always thrilled when I get to visit, since it's rather out of the way for me. I have visited probably 5 times and have only been slightly disappointed once; on my most recent visit, I ordered the burger, which came out pretty dry and over cooked. The toppings were nice and I love their house potatoes, but the actual meat was nothing special at all. On past visits, I've thorougly enjoyed the hummus plate and mushroom soup. Service is great and the interior is cozy with a lovely view of the mountains. Worth a stop!

Popular spot in rural Donegal. Popular spot with a large, varied menu and extensive drink menu. Service was very polite and attentive, and they were able to accommodate a party of ten with advanced notice. Building has a rustic feel, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The Pimento cheese appetizer was quite good, with very flavorful cheese and curried veggies. The deviled eggs were also good, but too much focus on the pork belly and not enough on the actual egg filling. Both were decent. The burger was quite disappointing unfortunately. Firstly, they claim it's a smash burger, but it's not. Secondly, it was overcooked. Third, it was $20. If you're going to charge that for a burger, it needs to be incredible, and this just wasn't. They have much better options. The smoked salmon sandwich was also interesting in the sense it was cooked salmon. Often smoked salmon is raw, so just be aware if that's what you want. Lastly, the Ruben was a pretty great offering, tho they forgot the thousand island initially, or used very little. That was an easy fix. Sweet potato fries were great, but the Chipotle aioli was... Not chipotle? Not sure how to describe it, but it had a very unique, albeit not chipotle, flavor.Overall, a pretty good spot in an area without many options. Reservations are needed and understandably so. They need to make some easy tweaks to their menu items, but overall, a decent spot whether you're passing through or a local.

Pretty cute Cafe in the Laurel Highlands and a delicious salad. Adult beverage menu is pretty extensive and the staff is very friendly. I always return when I'm in town. Thanks for the hospitality.

Great outdoor patio and the mushroom soup was amazing. Service was just okay and after we made the reservation, they asked if we were celebrating anything and we said it was our anniversary, the whole night no one even said happy anniversary to us to make it more special so I don't know why they asked in the first place.

Overall a cool spot to go after visiting seven springs. I got the Wagyu burger and a salmon salad. The burger came out hot and fresh. It was a little over seasoned with what seemed to be pepper. The salad was super fresh and had some slices of mushrooms. The service is always pretty good, everyone hustles and makes you feel welcome. They've got a great outdoor seating area and inside there are two big windows showing the beauty of the mountains. Overall I'm kind of surprised they haven't changed the menu very much from the last time I went. It's just about the same offerings as before.

I have been here for both lunch and dinner. I really enjoyed Sandi's Smoked Salmon Sandwich - Toasted Ciabatta / Signature Smoked Salmon / Fresh Mozzarella / Roma Tomatoes / Roasted Red Peppers / Basil Pesto MayoField Greens / Sweet Potato Fries for lunch. This is not the salmon you normally think of for a bagel and cream cheese. No, this is salmon they have smoked on site and works well in a sandwich as described. For dinner, the Signature Roasted Mushroom Soup is amazing. The Smoked Salmon Platter - House Hickory Smoked Salmon / Capers / Benedictine Spread / Red Onion / Cornichons / Dill / Parsley / Radish / Rye Toast / Everything Crusted Flatbread for the table has the same smoke salmon as was in the sandwich for lunch and is a great detour from what you would expect something like this to be like. The Grilled Watermelon Salad - Chargrilled Watermelon / Bing Cherries / Baby Arugula / Pea Shoots / Roasted Red Peppers / Stilton Bleu Cheese that was on special who someone else had at the table looked amazing. My main course was a Chargrilled 16oz Berkshire Pork Ribeye special and I really enjoyed that.Overall, the food, the service, and the setting are amazing. I was disappointed to see a smoker outside and to find out that the only item on the menu that was actually smoked was the salmon. There was a pork butt special noted on the tables, but that is something for pickup on a special day for those that want to order one. Otherwise, the salmon on the menu, as good as it is, seems to be the only menu item you will be enjoying from it at least at this time.
