Oryza Asian Grill

As out of town visitors , after 4 days of restaurants, we were looking for vegetables, salads...lighter fare .Nothing deep fried or covered in cheese!We absolutely loved Oryza.I wish we had one in my town!Everything was fresh and made to order. We all loved our meals. My husband had a salad with spicy chicken, my son had a rice bowl with blackened shrimp, and I had a noodle bowl with teriyaki chicken. I would definitely visit this restaurant again if I am in the area.

I thought this was going to be a typical restaurant, but it's not, it's kind of like an Asian style Chipotle. The menu is simple enough and the ingredients are fresh, pick your bowl, salad or wrap. Then pick rice or noodles, followed by protein, then veggies and sauces. I went with rice, steak, beans, corn, egg, carrots onion and a sweet siracha sauce all in all it was good for around $9.50. I'd get 2 servings of the sauce next time. It's a place I wouldn't mind going back to.

I tried this place based on a couple of recommendations... I am.torn between 3 and 4 stars. The best and most accurate description I saw was asian version of chipotle. That is rather on point, but this place is to Asian food what chipotle is to Mexican food. I tried the red rice with spicy chicken, but made the mistake of getting the ginger dressing. It tasted more like thousand island with ginger. Blah. I suppose they do have some taste combinations that work better, and the food I suppose is relatively healthy and inexpensive, but overall not a wow experience for me. I'll try again another day and see if I can find a mix that tastes better to me.

This place is really good, I have enjoyed it both times I went. Only reason I didn't give it 5 was because I feel it's sort of basic, nothing super special, but you know what you are getting when you go.

Server and staff- 5 star, they were friendly and fast placed. This reminds me of an Asian style Chipotle. I appreciated how quickly they took my order. The food was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful establishment.

I spent 3 weeks in Mo'town while my wife was in the hospital. A lyft driver recommended Oryza to me. I ended up ordering from them on 7 different occassions (from both locations)The wraps are HUGE and very delicious, (I am sure the bowls are too). Excellent service and very clean stores.I'd recommened everyone who is in the area to give them a try. From what I understand, they are a local business, which makes their restaurant even more attractive.I am looking forward to visiting again, perhaps for a WVU football game.

If you want to eat at the restaurant, it's ok but NEVER order for delivery. They will get the orders wrong EVER time almost like they mess them up on purpose.

It was okay. This was my first time and I had the noodle bowl with chicken, kale, mushrooms and broccoli, black beans, cucumber, herb salad, spicy sesame sauce, Thai chili. Decent portion size, the kale was particularly good, but it just didn't seem as flavourful as I hoped, despite my careful sauce curation. I think you probably have to experiment a bit with the combinations here to find what you like. I preferred Bibibop in the Columbus area, but this'll do in a pinch.

Generous portion. You definitely get your moneys worth. Food is absolutely delicious highly recommend.

EXCEPTIONAL QUICK CASUAL. Oryza provides the speed of a Jimmy John's, and a healthful meal that is guaranteed to fill you up. And inexpensive on top of it all! So many options. So many flavors. Freshly made in house - you can watch them do it. Everyone in my family loves it. (And you get a nice black plastic commemorative bowl to remember your trip there.) One if Morgantowns best places to eat!!!
