Original Italian Pizza of Saxton

We ate here after a softball game. The pizza was very good and full of flavor. Not greasy at all. We also ordered breadsticks which are actually cheese sticks. But they were good and the marinara sauce it came with was very good. My husband ordered a cheesesteak sub. He said the flavor was good but didn't have much meat. There were a few games going on in Saxton tonight so they were pretty busy. Our service was decent. We would definitely eat here again.

You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu here. Good service, great food! My only wish is that when I come here for lunch I had the willpower to order a salad or at the very least...only eat have of my sandwich! You will not leave hungry. The sandwiches are all good, I like the steak the best. I also really like the stromboli here! If you order it for lunch, you will also have dinner =)

This was our first time there. Absolutely delicious!!! Nice portion sizes, but no too big. We all got something different and everything was fantastic. Best tasting food we had out in a while. Waitress awesome as well. Will be going back.

5th time here in 3 years, we camp at raystown campgrounds every August. Tonight was horrible, one server for the ENTIRE place, not personable at all. My wife got the manicotti, served pretty quick, kids waited 40 minutes for 3 slices of pizza, my sub never came at all. No comps, no apologies, the owner was standing right there, what an ass. WE WILL NEVER eat there again, ever. What a bunch of self absorbed idiots.

We ate at the OIP of Saxton for supper. I thought the prices were good along with the service. I had the buffalo chicken Stromboli which I had never heard of before our time here. The Stromboli was excellent. A friend also had the buffalo chicken salad. I had never heard of that either. He enjoyed his meal as well. The waitress was attentive and the food came promptly. We had a very nice time. We sat in the side room which was small but quaint.

This place has great pizza! The salads are questionable. The service is very good.

Waited a half hour, and wasn't even acknowledged. Ultimately gave up and left.I get they were busy, but a simple "I'll be right with you" would have made all the difference.

I like the Eggplant Parmesan that is served at this OIP. The OIPs in this area vary in quality but this is my favorite one. The service is always prompt and food seems the freshest here.
