Original Italian Pizza & Restaurant

Wonderful family owned restaurant! We eat here often and the food is excellent. Personally, I loved the baked spaghetti, but everything is so delicious!

Love their food!! Have to try their homemade steak subs!! Their pizza is also amazing all homemade bread!!

OIP is a cozy little pizza joint located in the heart of the quaint, beautiful little town of Roaring Springs, PA . I stopped in there today to pick up pizza and hoagies to bring to a business meeting at the rock quarry. We called the owner early in the morning, long before the shop opened, and asked him if he could make some food for us to bring, and if it could be available around 10:45, 15 minutes before the shop opened. The owner had no problem with this and made sure to get the food ready for us early. It was a big help and the food was all gone by the time our meeting was over! Everyone loved it!!BOTTOM LINE: Great neighborhood pizza parlor with dedicated management. A+

This is hard to grade. The staff was 5 stars. The bread, 5. The atmosphere...meh, aged and weird. They have an assorted display of fairly tacky homemade jewelry. Like the kind my mother-in-law makes for the church craft shows. The table cloth looked like it might have been new in 1980. It had been cleaned so often it was both dingy and faded. I had the ravioli. I'm pretty sure it was frozen, not fresh. Yet, it was good, and totally hot and edible. A 3+. But that bread!! I learned later they make their subs on their homemade freshly baked bread. Order this. You won't regret it.

Great family-owned restaurant. Frank does a great job of taking care of his customers. We absolutely love the ham wedgies. Huge portions and fresh homemade food. One of the best restaurants in the area.

I've never ordered anything from OIP that wasn't delicious. I did find a long hair in a stromboli I ordered once, but when I called back I talked to the owner and he was very apologetic and offered a new stromboli and a refund.

EVERYTHING that Frank and his lovely wife serve at OIP is great! Don't miss the Eggplant Parm! Pizza is first rate and they also make something called a Grilled Chicken Wrapper, which is probably the best flavored item I have ever eaten in ANY restaurant! Wonderful lunch specials!

We ordered a half bacon & half mushroom with meatballs. And a pepperoni pizza. Our pizza with half bacon & have mushroom with meatballs was not half & half. Everything was on one side. And to be honest I don't even know if there is actually bacon on it. The cut of the pizzas were like someone who is blind was cutting it. The sauce is very bland. Probably won't order here again.

Awesome stromboli and chicken parmigiana subs. The owner Frank is awesome and friendly. The homemade bread is fantastic. Nice thin crust pizza. Not a fancy place but great for take out

Food is amazing and my waitress was so nice! She knew I was having a bad do so she insisted on paying for my lunch! :)
