Original Hometown Pizza

Got the thin crust. Perfect crunch, super tasty overall. Perfect late night pizza. Would definitely go back!

Right off the top...you can't get a beer here.There's nothing cute, cozy, or trendy about this place. Looks like it used to be a gas station or old time fast food joint. It's a local pizza joint.The guy who runs the place is really proud of his food, and he should be. He makes as much of the menu from scratch as possible, and it shows. The quality of the food and the friendly service drags the overall experience up to a three for me. If you're in one of the airport hotels, this is a decent selection to take back to your room. But it's not a place for a nice sit-down dinner and drinks.

Unassumingly Good Pizza. Crust had corn meal which makes it super crunchy and delicious. Lots of toppings. Friendly service. Definitely coming back.

WOW! This was some of the BEST pizza I've had in a long time!! On the day I went, a weekday for lunch, it was literally a one-man-show, I think it was the owner running everything from taking orders, answering the phones, etc to making the pizzas. He didn't seem to miss a beat though... He was cool, calm, and collected!They have all the typical toppings on an amazing NY style, perfect pizza! I opted for pepperoni and jalapeños and it was prepared PERFECTLY!!! The crust had that snap the fold you do to pick it up. The ability for the base/floor of the crust to hold the toppings without falling over and all the toppings falling off was EXCELLENT!!! The flavor was INCREDIBLE!!!I highly recommend this joint, whether you're eating in (there's not much to their dining room tho) or getting it to go... The Best Pizza is HERE!!

People were nice, but I thought the food was very average. I got a pizza and their version of a hoagie. Again, not that it was bad, but the pizza was meh and the sandwich was VERY oily. I didn't finish either. Considering the total cost was $38 I didn't think it was worth it. Sorry.

Pleasant surprise!! Great pizza ! Crust was excellent! As were the wings. Half price wings on Wednesday too!! Done right!

It's all about the fresh dough for great crust. Really awesome pizza. Best I've had in the area!

Solid local choice. Could be great but fell short in many respects.The pizza was respectable, though everything was skimpy.The toppings were sparse at best.It was hard for me to get a read on the sauce. May have been a little thin also. I didn't like the thin crust we chose. I'd probably try the hand toss next time just to compare.The building and parking were all OK but nothing to write home about.The people are helpful and friendly. The menu prices on yelp must've been very old, so I got a little surprise to check out. I've attached current menu photo.

Our wings and pizza were delicious. When I picked up my order everyone was very helpful and friendly. I just wish they had earlier hours during the week. I will definitely be back!! I encourage everyone to stop in and try them!!

First time caller, last time caller!Today 11:45 am 3.24.24 New to the area and wanted to find a good pizza place. The call went exactly like this... " Hometown pizza, what can I get you?" Me, "Can I order a pizza to pickup?" Employee, " I said, what can I get you!?"... he said in a nasty, condescending voice. I said... "I am good thanks" and I hung up. I guess business is so good they do not need or want a new customer. Oh well, there are others. Now I have another food service business to talk about on all of our Pittsburgh area foodie pages.
