Olympia Hall

Nice spot for the local Greek Orthodox church and their annual Greek Festival. A nice banquet facility for events. I've been here for a few events over the years and everything is slways well done - the food, the facility, cleanliness...all done right!

My only experience with Olympia Hall was for the 34th annual Greek Food Festival. Clearly a HUGE undertaking for the Church.This hall is set up to maximize people with a large dance wooden floor in the middle and ample room for banquet tables all the way around. The hall itself appeared to be void of decoration, allowing for personalization by event. I can imaging that a wedding reception would be beautiful and spacious. There are hallways outside of the banquet room to move people, as well. The hall was nice and clean.There seems to be a great amount of parking, but the not-so-great neighborhood is somewhat of a downer. Also, the entryway to the hall is very heavily decorated and may or may not be to everyone's taste.

This facility signed a contract my daughter to rent this space. My daughter paid the agreed upon price for the space. Connie - manager of the facility contacted my daughter to say that she wanted an additional $800 because she feels that she will not make sufficient money from the event. The reception is 09/05/15!!!!! and she contacted my daughter in August, 2015!!!!!! Numerous telephone calls have been placed to her; however, she refuses to answer the telephone or return calls. She STILL HAS the contractual agreed-upon money!!!! I do not know how this will end, but what I will tell everyone is RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! It may be a nice look but BEWARE...IT IS A CON!!!!!!
