Best local restaurant if you have not tried it is a must , friendly small town establishment , Tuesday night bike nights are the best

Stopped here on a week day for lunch. They have a nice sized parking lot across the street. The patio was nice with the sunny fall day. Then the sewage smell hit us, and we went to sit at the bar inside. The sandwiches came out shortly. The fish sandwich was nothing special. We were expecting a typical "Pittsburgh" fish, over flowing off the bun. It was ok. The burger I had was the highlight of this excursion.

Just a little hometown bar, with some really good bar food. Portions are large, price is low, food is super good and "comfort-ey"If I'm in the area, will definitely stop back!

It is excellent small dinner and bar with excellent food at excellent prices.I highly recommend this restaurant,especially the chicken wings! It is indescribable how good these chicken wings are!!! This little diner is under new management only for the kitchen.I honestly think they may have to build a new restaurant eventually as the word spreads about how good the food is.The food is epic! good Go to Ole Hickory INN!!! OMG!! The food is amazing !!

To start off my kiddo wanted Sprite and it was flat. So instead of going downstairs the waitress chose to offer him some other pop. Well he's not permitted other pop. She was too *busy* to go downstairs but only had 4 tables. Was it because we weren't regulars? Curiously the waitress had time to chat with the regulars. His wings were blahh and the barbecue sauce tasted like a cheap out of the bottle sauce. My wife's Reuben was dry and barely any meat. She didn't eat half of it. My chicken salad was good but it was fried when I asked for grilled. My tea had a very strong taste to it. If I had to guess it was out of a dispenser and not fresh brewed. Overall not a pleasant experience for a first time customer.

The staff was nice and the prices were right. I got the Rachel and it was great. My husband got pizza and wings. The wings were cooked perfectly but I would have liked a little more sauce on them. My husband liked the pizza, but it wasn't my style. It had that cheap dive bar pizza taste. He enjoyed it though! The only real negative I have about the Ole Hickory Inn is that it took soooooo long to get our food! The only bartender was also the only server, so I wish they had another employee working the lunch shift on a busy Saturday afternoon. However, I won't hold it against them and will be sure to be back!

Disappointed in this place. My Reuben was soggy and my son, who loves wings, barely ate half of the ones on his plate. My hubby got the chicken salad which he said was good. 2 stars because my kid ordered a sprite which was flat. We informed the waitress and she told us she didn't have time to run all the way downstairs to change it out. In the meantime, she had plenty of time to talk to the regulars, who came 15 mins after us and got silverware before we did. Actually our food was on the table and we still had no silverware and had to ask for some in order to eat. I get that it was a little busy but it wasn't crazy. I compare it to when I waitressed and there was no excuse for not hooking up the new soda when it was out. I am sure the locals love it, but I found it to be rather meh. It is just a bar food restaurant and nothing special.

Please update your hours. Stopped on a Wednesday at 5:00pm to find you closed. No posted hours on the door, just a closed sign. Hours online say open 10am to midnight. It's easy to fix. Just go into Google and fix it. I drove a long way and bummed I can't eat and have a drink.

Came here for some food on sat at 6:00 pm said kitchen closed at 6 hopefully it's just a one time deal otherwise are you kidding me

Beware, take cash. We were regulars but a number of us have been charged anywhere from 3 to 5 times for the same meal. Owner is unresponsive to resolve. We have all had to file disputes with our banks. Several of us in the last couple of months. I wonder how many others this has happened to? Plus a glass of wine went from $6 to $7.50 in a matter of days. Not returning anytime soon.
