Old Franco's Pizzeria

Good pizza! We ordered on a whim while we were in town, and it was a solid pie. Everyone enjoyed a slice at the end of a day! So grateful they delivered.

Very good pizza...extremely reasonable prices!! Ordered two large w/toppings and ate in. Outside could use a paint job.

Well let's start this off by saying I've been ordering here since I was a kid and through my adult life , this establishment has went through many owners, in saying the quality of their food/products has gone downhill. The "extra large" 16 inch is no longer when you order that you're getting basically a 12 inch pizza! Also be aware of the 3.00 delivery charge that you're not informed about if you order delivery, the employee who takes your order will tell you 45 minutes even when they have no business nor are busy, everyone who is well aware a 45 minute wait time is when you are at your peak business hours and are actually busy, also this employee is very rude and has an attitude problem especially when your food isn't what it should be, orderers beware! They try to make a NY style pizza and that's far from it, everything from the sauce to the cheese has changed for tasteless and bland and more than likely cheap ingredients, which is a shame when it used to be so good! So be cautious when ordering from here, best advice is to do a pickup order so you're not secretly charged 3.00 dollars for a delivery fee on top of a tip, because most places will give the driver half or a portion of that fee or just keep it themselves all together. One of the best pizzas in town. Homemade soups from scratch everyday - try the potato on Fridays - yum! Two thumbs up for the chicken parm dinner as well - good enough for two meals - especially with their warm homemade bread included as well as a side salad. The staff is crazy nice and the prices are right. Great specials. Don't be put off by the location or exterior - you'll be missing out! If this place had booze I would never leave!

This place has really good pizza, chicken sandwiches, tacos, fries , and stromboli Everything on the menu is good . Great price to .

By far one of the worst places I've eaten at and ordered from. 95% of what you order is either beyond late so it's super cold or basically completely burnt and overcooked. It might also be BOTH! Stay away from this place! If you have to buy anything from Francos order the cheapest meal possible. Terrible place, you've been warned!

This is really a very nice little diner to catch a quick bite. The folks are always so nice and the food is incredible home cooked fare. I recommend this restaurant

I often have lunch at Old Franco's when visiting my partner in the Moxham neighborhood of Johnstown, PA. It's nothing fancy, but offers dining in, takeout and delivery to the surrounding area. In addition to pizza, the do a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches, soups and salads, burgers and various Italian specialties. I've enjoyed most everything there, as has my partner. It's a good, dependable place to eat and not outrageously expensive. Most recently, I had a soft beef taco ($6.49 with all the typical ingredients, sour cream on the side and it is indeed huge) and a 10-inch personal pizza ($5.99 plus .50 cents per extra topping--4 big slices, and I had it with pepperoni and mild mild peppers). Meanwhile, my partner had nicely prepared and large cheeseberger ($5.79) and a order of fries with beef gravy ($3,79).There was a slight charge (less than $1) for paying with a card, but neither of us had any complaints.They do have a modest variety of beverages available (mostly soda pop and bottled iced tea), but we took our meal at my partner's apartment with fruit juice she'd bought at the supermarket.

THE best pizza around! We look forward to treating ourselves to a pizza Friday and when we do, this is our first choice! They are always so friendly and helpful when ordering!
