Old Canal Inn

The food is good and the service is excellent. However, had to take away one star because they definitely need to work on the ambiance. We arrived around 8pm and we're having a great time. Then suddenly, at 9pm, the awesome music was turned off and instead some kinda obscure crap from the TV with the crappiest speakers was turned on. Did we and the other customers do something wrong? Why are they trying to get everyone to leave? A few groups did get up to leave at that point. The ambiance went from "relaxing nice local bar" to "you don't have to go home but get the eff outta here". Just an FYI for Old Canal Inn: you cannot go wrong with classic 70's rock playing in the background. It's a genre pretty much everyone likes. Probably shouldn't rely on that one busboy with peculiar tastes to pick the music.

Just a good all around spot to eat and drink. Great wings and weekend breakfast menu.

Very unclean, service questionable After watching the flies crawl on the glasses and the waitress not wash her hands before our drinks the glass had questionable substances on it possibly fly feces

Revisited the Old Canal after many years and new owners. The food was excellent We ordered the Turkey bacon club and hot wings. With a bowl of cheese potato soup. It's was delish. Everything was so good. Will go back again and again. Waitress was friendly and her service was great

I cannot believe that we've not eaten here before!!! The chicken is melt in your mouth tender and the coconut cream cake is beyond words! This will now be a regular stop for us

Good food Their wings / fries and Fish dinner are great...Waitresses are good workers - I think they serve both sides ( bar and dining room.)

Waitress didn't write our food down 2 of the 4 orders were wrong. Didn't bring soda refill after asking. Ran out of soup before 630

Very slow service. My french fries were COLD. The beer was flat. I do not recommend this place and will not return.

Wow! This place is fantastic. You won't find a better cheeseburger in town. The beer is cold and the service is outstanding. Owner, Lance, is one of the coolest people I know. He really goes out of his way to make sure your meal is perfect. I'll definitely be back again!

Delish! Burgers and hot wings were high quality and delicious! First time there! Will be back soon! Great service, too!
