Oh My Grill

It was snowing and i am standing outside for foodtruck food.Wow! I was first in line when they opened. Within minutes, they had 10 orders. Minimal wait in line and for food.I got the number 1 grilled cheese with the sour cream on the side ... and a side of spinach parmesan ball with sriracha sauce. My grilled cheese was gooey melted strands of cheese with onions and bacon ... and with the sour cream .. it was like a loaded bake potato sandwich. I shared my spinach balls and everyone enjoyed them.I am hoping they park in front of my employer this summer.

I have had my eye on Oh My Grill for a few months now and knew I had to stop by when they visited my neck of the woods, for their annual "Southside Work's Exposed" event. There were at least 6 other food trucks in the area when I visited Oh My Grill, and it was prime time for lunch - about 12:40 in the afternoon. I only had one person in line before me when I visited- which was awesome. I knew about the hype of the "Number One", but I decided to try the Italian Melt ($6) instead. My boyfriend ordered the Grilled Cuban ($8), which I was excited about- because I really wanted to try that one as well. The Italian Melt consisted of provolone, mozzarella, fontina, diced salami and pepperoncini's on white bread with a tomato soup dipper on the side. The Grilled Cuban was packed with double swiss, black forest ham, roasted turkey and dill pickles on white bread with a "Cuban mojo dipper". We waited 6 minutes, at most, which was really reasonable! Presentation wise, I think they should serve the sandwiches "open faced", in order to see the inside of the sandwiches better, but hey- that's just me. I adjusted the sandwiches for a few photographs (for yelp of course) and then dug right in. The Italian melt was awesome- cheesy and full of flavor. I loved the spice from the pepperoncini's and the tomato soup dipper was just amazing. The Grilled Cuban though... was OUT of this world. I took one bite of my boyfriend's sandwich and regretted my initial instinct of ordering it. Yes, the Italian melt was awesome- but the Grilled Cuban was OUTstanding. The Cuban mojo dipper was delicious and really complimented the sandwich.I had an awesome experience at Oh My Grill and will definitely return!

It has been a long time since I have happened on OMGrill. Short line and it moved fast. Didn't take to long to get my order. Had the Usual - a grilled cheese with buffalo chicken breast and jack and cheddar cheese and a side of dipping sauce. The sandwich was good, the buffalo chicken breast had a nice buffalo flavor and the cheese was a good compliment. Really enjoyed the dipping sauce. Had a side of Dirty potato chips.

Had Oh My Grill tonight outside of Biddle's Escape. I ordered the spinach and artichoke, my husband ordered the italian with potato salad, and we ordered the classic for my daughter. All 3 came with a tomato soup dipper. All of the grilled cheese sandwiches were pretty good. My husband said the potato salad was just okay. I was impressed with the price. We got all that food for $20. Not bad for feeding 3 people.

OMG! This place is delightful. I'm a giant food truck fan and a big fan of grilled cheese, so this made me a very happy girl for lunch today. I got the classic - white & yellow American cheese on wheat with a killer cream spread and of course, tomato soup to dip in! Perfect lunch on a late summer/early fall day! Very reasonably priced - $6 for the sandwich, bag of chips & a bottle of water. Definitely worth checking out if they are parked near you!

Awesome sauce. Your first thought is "Man this is an expensive grilled cheese." Don't let that stop you because your taste buds will grow to hate you for something you didn't know you needed. The pulled barbecue chicken grilled cheese can only be described as a pleasant surprise that makes you forget it was eight bucks. It's served with a sauce that you want to keep long after the sandwich is gone. The bread is crispy, the cheese factor is there and the barbecue has just the right amount of kick. There's no surprise about it that these grilled cheese sandwiches aren't like the ones you had growing up.

Had Oh My Grill tonight at Biddles Escape. I got the classic grilled cheese with tomato sauce dipper and the spinach Parmesan balls. I will say I was impressed with the price. The grilled cheese was good - would have preferred a bit more dipping sauce. But the spinach balls were phenomenal. I asked for the sauce on the side instead of drizzled on top and perfect for dunking. I I'll definitely get again!

Excellent grilled cheese! I ordered the Number One at the roundup at Coffee Buddha over the weekend. Smoked Gouda and white cheddar melted with bacon and caramelized onions w/ chive cream dipper. I was a little apprehensive about spending $8 on just a grilled cheese, but it was worth the money and the dipper put it over the top! I would totally order from this truck again.

Always delicious food. I love grilled cheese and they do a great job with it. The service is normally really good, too. I've been there quite a few times and only had one bad experience.

The Number One is my number one!For some reason I can't stray from the smoked Gouda, caramelized onions, and bacon. I love the fresh bread and the dipping sauce, whatever it's secret is, it's safe with me. Pretty much because I have no clue what the sauce is, only that it's good!I haven't tried any of the sides, but I'd imagine they're just as good as the grilled cheese sammiches!
