Oakmont Olive Oil Company

Holy Olive Oil!!! This place is probably the main reason I get back to Oakmont. Any and every style of olive oil is available through this local store.Getting to try different samples before buying is a plus.Employees really seem to love their oils because it shows in the way they treat customers.My go to when I need something for a recipe or a gift.

First of all, I was beyond thrilled when I saw Oakmont Olive Oil Company open for the first time. As a pretty serious home chef, I was psyched to not have to go all the way to the Strip District to find similar products. They are knowledgeable; and, always have fresh bread to taste olive oil, as well as small cups to sip on vinegars. I gave a bottle of infused oil (with a pour spout) as a house warming gift - and it was an instant hit. They used it up in less than a month! I also purchased an 8-pack of mini bottles for Christmas, which allowed me to choose all different kinds of balsamic and white vinegars, flavored and traditional, as well as a bunch of olive oils too. They also carry cooking and finishing salts in small and large bags.Essentially, Oakmont Olive Oil Company should be your one-stop-shop for oils, vinegars, and salts - whether it's for your own kitchen or for a gift. I highly recommend them!

I was sent a 4 pack of oils and vinegars during the holidays last year...what a treat!!! We have used the flavored oils on our popcorn, salads and fish. Amazing quality and great tasting products!

I sampled a couple products at Oakmont Fall Festival and absolutely loved them.I went to their website to see what other things the sold. I was instantly attracted to the combo olive oil and spice set selling for $6.99.I decided to stop next time I was in Oakmont. I did that very thing on Saturday, November 2. I purchased 2 of the combos and paid with my debit card. The owner, Sharon was very sweet. They send you a receipt instead of providing a hard copy so it was not until I checked my phone that I saw I had been charged $24.00. I called several times but got no answer and decided to go back up.When I arrived, Sharon greeted me cordially but her demeanor changed drastically when I stated that I was charged too much for the combo.I show her the picture on her website featuring the combo and the first thing she said was that I did not purchase the Balsamic mini & spices. That product was also listed as $6.99. I pulled up the EVOO mini and spices photo from the website but she did not want to look at it. She stated that I was obviously trying to "rip her off". I stated that was not true but felt that the price should be honored. She told me that the mistake was the marketing department's fault, not hers and that she was calling them to correct it. She made me feel really awful and finally did 'begrudgingly" give me a refund. I told her that her her customer service left lots to be desired and that I planned to describe my horrendously bad experience on Facebook. She actually asked if I was really going to trashher on Facebook. I told her that I was not as rude as her, however, I do believe I have changed my mine as easily as she changed her website price for the combos which are now listing for $12.60. Let me just state that Oakmont Olive Oil company has wonderful products but if you are looking for stellar service, eh, not so much.
