Norwin Bowl

This was the best $10 I ever spent for a night of fun. Friday night from 8pm to Midnight, cosmic bowling, $10, unlimited bowling. Need I say more? What a great deal for any group of kids or adults looking to have a fun time. If you want to get a size shoe that actually fits your feet, I would suggest you getting there early because they get picked over real quick. If you are bored on a Friday night come here and spend that 10 bucks and have yourself a great night. They also have a bar attached to the alley, so that is a plus if you are over 21.

We were looking for a place to meet up over the Christmas holiday with some old friends and teenagers in the small of Irwin, PA. We decided to go bowling. Although I grew up in Irwin, I had not been at Norwin Bowl since elementary school. My teenagers were a little taken aback by the exterior of the building. It was painted completely black with no windows. Once inside the bowling alley small (about 14 lanes) but clean and the staff was friendly. The bar connected to the bowling alley was also small with a friendly bartender. It served a small selection of food . We ordered wings with dry rub. They took a very long time to be done but they were worth it. When they came out, we were surprised that it was whole wing with the leg connected. The wings were crispy and the dry rub flavorful. Overall, we had a great time eating, drinking, and bowling while catching up with friends.

I was looking for something outside the norm for my son and his friend to do on Sunday afternoon. I remembered Norwin Bowl from my childhood and read the other reviews. WOW! Such friendly staff and great lanes. Lots of other families have fun too. The boys (both age 10) had a great time. Love the updated lanes and scoring. My son liked it so much that we decided to hold his birthday party there in a few weeks....super reasonable prices, friendly staff, laid back atmosphere!
