North Country Brewing Company

Loveeee North Country Brewing. I've eaten here several times, but this is my first time reviewing.Went with the Ploughman sandwich - big hoagie roll stuffed with chopped smoked turkey breast, bacon, cheese, LTO, and their Ploughman mustard. Delicious. Side of mac and cheese was tasty as well. Had a few different beers as well. Can't go wrong with any of them - North Country knows how to make a solid brew. Overall, 10/10 love this place. Interior is amazing. The food is always good and the beer is always cold.

This is one of my favorite places to go, the decor makes you feel like you're in a magical treehouse but it's even better when it's decorated for the holidays. We went later at night after visiting Keystone Safari (close by) and we walked right in. The beer selection always has something for everyone and the food is delicious. I wasn't thrilled with the kids' fries since they were very overdone but this was the first time that happened so we will still be back. The host also provided the kids with paper and crayons to color which was a nice surprise and kept them busy. It's definitely a place that the family can enjoy.

Food is still great as ever but the prices are astronomical. For 2 sandwiches cost $43 w/o a tip.Service was polite and very kind and also super clean inside.

Bison burger cooked to death. Tasted like the grill. We got it medium and it came out extra well done. It's like $26 too. Ridiculous. I will say the service was great though. The service gets a solid 5 star. The food, one star. Pecan pie came out with very little pecans and loads of filling. Didn't look homemade, just very disappointing. . Not worth the money anymore, this place used to be rocking back in the day. Atmosphere is great with outdoor seating and room for our pup! I think there needs to be some upgrades with the furniture, etc. My chair outside was rusty and the paint was peeling off. Some dude kept sneaking over to the corner of the outdoor eating area to get his smoke on, which stunk up the whole area. Maybe some no smoking signs would help this to not happen. Overall id probably only get the beer here from now on, beer is definitely good and remains to be good.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and prompt. Our drink order was taken immediately and the beers were out within 5 minutes. We ordered fish and chips and a reuben and they were out in about 15 minutes. The fries were definitely fresh and needed a little salt, but were delicious. The portion of fish was hefty and the reuben was toasted perfectly. The rye bread was seeded and there were tons of seeds on the crust. I had the pickled beets and eggs as a side and they were fresh and not soggy at all. The decor is something else! There's something to look at, no matter where you look. The history of the building is apparent, as is the charm. Even the bathroom was fun and eclectic. We'll be back.

I always make a point to stop at NCBC when in the area. Arrived at 5pm on a Saturday and was seated right away to a cozy spot upstairs. Every staff member I interacted with made us feel as welcomed as royalty, and all were extremely efficient, attentive, and personable. Frickle Fries (fried pickles) were the perfect appetizer, I liked how thin the pickles were sliced, and the sauce was incredible!!I ordered the berries n' cream cocktail and it was flawless. Waiter warned us that it was deceivingly strong because it was so tasty and smooth - he was right, but fortunately I do remember how delicious the rest of the experience was :) Myself and my other half both ordered sandwiches (Reuben and the Zuprimi with grilled chicken) and were completed satiated after only eating half of it.Thanks for a great time, can't wait to be back!!

Incendie meal, everything was delicious and our server John was very helpful. I will drive 47 miles from Pittsburgh to come back.Thank you for great meal and beverages- pumpkin beer is great...

Such a great place! The decor and ambience is out of this world! The food and service is great. I usually don't write reviews but I love this place. Everyone needs to come here!

To start the food is amazing! I had the running bull with au ju sauce and the Mac and beer cheese. It was so delicious as well as the seasoned fries! Our waiter was very nice and the ambiance in there is amazing! There's so many cool things to look at!

We used to come here all the time in graduate school so we had to visit when we were in town!I had the sour beer and hubs had the strawberry margarita. Both were fresh and yum!He had the Leroy brown burger with beef and I had the pittsburgher salad! The burger was grilled perfectly and the sweet potato fries were so tasty! Only in PA can you get a salad with French fries on it, I know it sounds gross, but it's soooo good!!Our server was wonderful! Very quick and attentive!
