We did not get to dine in but from the look of the line it's quite a coveted Pittsburgh gem! We decided to order online and did have a 1.5-2 hour wait for our food to be ready for pick-up but we expected it. The pick-up adjacent to the restaurant made the pick-up process seamless. The food: truly incredible we order the sum tum (papaya salad), Chiang Mai curry/ khao soi with chicken, and the khao Panang curry beef.Everything was to die for.

I'm absolutely thrilled that Noodlehead got some new menu items and takes credit card now!!Your whole party has to be there before you can be seated. We all got there shortly after 6pm and it soon got very packed after we got seated. There's plenty of seating inside and it's good for groups of 2-6 people I would say. The inside was incredibly dark, like I have a hard time reading the menu or seeing what my food actually looks like dark. Our food came out incredibly quickly and it was delicious and reasonably priced.

I stopped into Noodlehead for a quick lunch during my workday, and I am so glad I did. I apparently was in a porky mood, as I ordered both the pork skewers and pork belly steamed buns. Both were phenomenal. The pork skewers were cooked perfectly, and the sweet chili sauce was an excellent pairing. The pork buns were juicy with a hint of sweetness mixed in with the savory. My waitress was attentive and kind and checked in with me regularly. Though it was busy for lunch, I found that the noise level was fine to get a bit of work done while I ate. I will definitely be adding this to my list of lunch spots!

As evident by my photos, I've been coming to Noodlehead for over 7 years! It's wild even for me to think about. It's wilder to know that they now accept credit cards! I know, I never thought I'd see this day come...*sheds tear of joy*The good thing is that the food, taste and quality have remained. They've even added some new tasty items to the menu. I recently tried the chive cakes as enjoyed them. While the price has increased from like $10 to $14 for entrees (yup it was inevitable), I'm happy to report that it's still worth it. And still BYOB.The staff is always friendly, patient with inconsiderate patrons, and helpful. Come here for lunch on a weekday; it's quiet and chill. Come after 5pm on a weekend, it's loud and busy. You'll probably wait at least 30 minutes even for two.

This restaurant has been a long-time favorite of mine, and even after all these years, it still deserves a glowing 5-star review. The quality, consistency, and flavors here are unmatched, making it a true gem in Pittsburgh's dining scene. My go-to dishes are always "Street Noodle #1," which features rice noodles, Thai fried chicken, bok choy, bean sprouts, and cilantro -- absolutely delicious every time. When I'm in the mood for something classic, the Pad Thai with chicken is a winner. I have no spice tolerance (I stick with 0 on their spice scale), but the flavors are so bold and rich that I never feel like I'm missing out. For those who like heat, their spice scale goes up to 5, so there's something for everyone.A meal here isn't complete without a Thai iced tea -- the perfect sweet and creamy complement to the savory dishes. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, you'll always leave satisfied.A heads-up: they're cash only, but they do have an ATM in the back if you need it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for flavorful Thai food in Pittsburgh!

This is one of my favorite go to spots. And now is even better with their extended take out section and they even take credit cards. New for 2025 an extended menu but I still go with my tried and trues. The food is exceptional and one of the best tasting tofu around. The service is incredible. Our server Caitlyn is amazing. And I love the fact that you can byob for a cork fee. If you are in the mood for this and have never stopped at Noodlehead you must.

This is my favorite go-to place! I always order the flat noodles, I forgot to ask for the fried chicken version so I highly suggest doing that! The shrimp tempura noodles were so good with the crispyness. The pulled pork boa bun was alright. The waitress was very attentive and quick. The place gets packed quick! I would say noise level 3.5/5 and tight seating. I love Noodlehead!

Delicious, non standard Thai food! Got the street noodle 1 and Chiangmai mai curry. The chicken was perfectly fried and went very well with the noodles, while the curry was very flavorful. They accommodate very low spice (I have very little tolerance) which is nice.I also got the iced lemongrass honey drink - very sweet but quite tasty, and they give a free refill. The kicker is the price - way cheaper than most restaurants nowadays for a good quantity. Not as much vegetable as I would maybe like, but can't complain too much when it's so cheap. It is cash one though, so be aware of that.

i love coming here for their pad see ew's--one of my absolute favorites. The spice does creep up though, so be careful if you're getting anything above a level 2! The restaurant is almost always packed so food does take a minute to come, but it's always worth it. The restaurant is very cute, but the chairs are not the most comfortable.

I've been to Noodlehead a number of times and it's always amazing. Tips: Parking sucks, be prepared. It is cash only. It's BYOB but they only charge a 75 cents recycling fee. You must have your entire party present to be sat. Food is amazing, service is quick. The inside is full of plants and is adorable. And Millie's ice cream next door is a plus!
