I noticed that I don't hand out enough 4s and 5s, so I feel like I had to adjust my rating scale. New Crescent is one of all-time favortie breweries and is my local "go-to". I needed to make it a "5". Here's my updated scale:5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here.4 - I'd drive up to 30 minutes just to come here.3 - Solid choice if you're in the area.2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices nearby.1 - Just don't.

Best beer and service around! The Hefeweizen is my favorite but I also enjoy the other varieties they have. Always a great ambiance too with live music sometimes.

After visiting Crooked Creek Distillery, we checked our Laurel Highlands Pour Tour app and realized New Crescent Brewing was within walking distance from where we parked. New Crescent has many beer choices and also had one local cider and mead choice on their menu. All beers were good, but my favorite was the Laurel Highlander Scotch Ale. Not many breweries have these on their menus, so I was happy it was an option. We also tried small pours of the Lunar Weizen, Betelgeuse IPA, Raspberry Mead, and Yed Prior Red Ale. New Crescent has a really nice, relaxing space to sit and enjoy a few beers. They have many to go options, and all their beer is reasonably priced. I liked that they offered a bomber bottle ($7 for the Scotch Ale) so you don't have to commit to a huge amount of beer like a growler to take home.As a person who enjoys taking pictures, I was slightly saddened by the plastic cups for the small pours instead of the way cool moon-shaped flight boards that I've seen in other people's Yelp photos. I realize this is probably due to Covid restrictions and hope the flight boards are back the next time I'm in the area.

My friend and I stopped here during an afternoon out. The brewery has a nice atmosphere and multiple places to sit for the small size. The chalkboard of on tap beers listed about 15 different types. My friend ordered a flight of beers, which she was able to choose 4 different beers. I overheard another worker tell a visitor that they typically serve 4 beers in their flight, but could pick more if they wanted. I ordered the Contact Light, which is an American Blonde Ale. For the flight and a glass of beer, it was about $13, which we thought was good pricing. We would have enjoyed the beer more if it was a bit colder. All of the beers tasted room temperature to us. They do have the option right now to order beer to go, which seems convenient! New Crescent seems like a good addition to downtown Irwin in their strip of cafes, restaurants, and other store fronts.

We stopped here because it was on the tour. It's in an office space type of store front. The place was packed. We tried all of the beers and 2 of the 4 were good. The pumpkin and Octoberfest were my favorites. It's a small space. Not too large, but the beer was good.

My husband and I were walking past with our dog and doubled back to try this place. They had outdoor seating so we could sit outside with our dog. The interior is warm and welcoming and they have a great selection of crafted beers for customers to try. My husband and I both had the pumpkin beer which was delicious! The sliders paired great with the beer too. They have growlers available as well. This brewery is a great addition to the downtown Irwin scene and we will definitely be back. We hope to bring friends when pandemic restrictions are lifted. Checkout this place if you're looking for a fun, relaxing environment to have an adult beverage.

Stopped by on another step of our pour tour. We are really enjoying the tour, and it's a great idea to get people out checking out new places. The atmosphere: this is a great location. It seemed nice and clean inside, with a really cool vibe. A little on the small side, but pretty nice in general. Music/TVs. The Beer: Lost a few points for me here. Some of the tastes were a little off on the IpA/Hazy. This is a newer brewery, so I'm sure they will adjust. (However, it's a bit of a pet peeve of mine to start weak and then work on improving.)The staff: The staff was attentive and poured the beer correctly. They were friendly, and able to answer some of my questions about the beer.Overall, I thought it was a good stop on the pour tour. The atmosphere and bartenders were positive to my experience, now they just need to improve the beer a bit.

The #5 Hefeweizen is the best along with the service. Numerous restaurants near brewery with take out. Lots of parking around.
