New City Buffet

Today, my boyfriend and I decided to come to New City Buffet for dinner. We just heard about this restaurant and we wanted to try it out for ourselves.The entrance and dining area was visibly clean. It is a lovely establishment. The staff was welcoming and quick to sit us down and take our drink orders.The restaurant has a good selection of food items! They have a salad bar, sushi bar, and a dessert area. The sushi is fresh and melts in your mouth. Their chicken egg rolls are warm, crispy, and bursting with flavor. I also had their fried dumplings, chicken kabob, white rice, sautéed mushrooms with shrimp, and the sweet and sour chicken. All of these items were fantastic!! Fresh and seasoned well! For all that you can have at this restaurant, the price is fair. This is the best Asian buffet around. I definitely recommend.

We came here often until I noticed they change the receipt AFTER you use a coupon. I had a water with my meal, original receipt brought to the table said 1 Soda which is what my partner had. I had a 10% off coupon. They reprinted my receipt and charged me for 2 sodas to offset the coupon discount.

The manager, hostess and server were very rude. From start to finish we are treated like we were an inconvenience to the establishment. We were celebrating my autistic nephew's 22nd birthday, who chooses there frequently because it's his favorite "restaurant ". We had a party of 11 people and we told that can't accommodate 11 people. As we looked around the room, there was multiple empty tables all within proximity to one another. Other customers after us we being seated while we stood for 30 minutes lookout these empty tables. Once we approached the manager He was just at ignorant as the hostess and said hold on I'm getting silverware but never came back. After approaching the hostess again we we're finally seated and there were quite a few empty tables that fit larger parties. Keep in mind this is a BUFFET. How can you not accommodate 11 people. Lol. One of the people with us asked for a menu and the MANAGER threw a crumpled up paper menu in front of him. We will not be returning EVER our money spends everywhere!!

Good food, reasonable quality, nice folks running the place. A group of us have started a monthly lunch here, and everyone finds something to eat and enjoy. Nothing fancy, but everything is clean and the other patrons are respectful and the food is tasty.

If you're looking for sushi, they don't replenish it very fast, at least not at lunch. But they have your typical Chinese buffet fare, and the service is always good. They also have a bar and takeout. There's always a steady stream of customers, as well.

We had the Best Food and Service This past Christmas Day and Everything was hot and Delicious! And I Enjoyed Spending Christmas with My Husband and Dad!

The food was cold and old. We got there 315 pm on Wednesday January 8 2025. Someone is going to get food poisoning. I'll NEVER go back ever. Disgusting

Even by the standards of a strip mall buffet, this isn't very good. There's probably 30 steam trays but not a lot of entrees surprisingly. At 2:30 most things looked like they'd been sitting out quite a while. None of the food was bad, none of it was good either. Service was very attentive and polite, so bonus points there. It's about $15 for all you can eat so you pretty much know what you're getting.

First when we got there we had to wait a few minutes before anyone came to help us. When we got the food it was ok you could tell that it was old and no one was replacing the food that they ran out of. After we asked for our check the girl came and gave us the check so we where paying with cash when we where counting the money to pay we where laying the money on the table when the lady stud there the whole time and started to count money to leave a tip the lady was like you MUST Tip. When is it required to leave a tip and why would you leave a tip afer the staff says

Waitress stood there and watched me fill out tip line on receipt!! They won't get my money again!!
