The outside is not the most beautiful on the outside but the inside is simple and clean. But the reason to come here is not because of anything in terms of decor. It is because the food is amazing and the service is good. I had chicken mono and mutton chow mean. Both were perfectly seasoned and spiced. The flavors were just right and everything was cooked perfectly. The mutton was cooked to be crisp in little bite sized pieces and at first I thought that was strange. Then I tasted it. It should be cooked that way for this dish. It was an incredible flavor and texture. The chicken mono had just enough firmness to the dumpling skin and an amazing taste for the filling. This is a place for a good meal, a large group, a special bite, a family, or for having leftovers for your next meal. Also, the spiciness was exactly as I asked for it to be. And when I said to keep it low because I was sharing the dish with someone else they brought an amazing little dish of chili paste so I could adjust my portion as I liked. The owners are nice and attentive. They make sure you have what you need and that your experience is good. Plus they seem to be nice people in general. This is a treasure in Carrick and I would be willing o drive here from any place in the county. If I could give them bonus stars I would.

Came for dinner with a group of four and ate at the restaurant.Ambiance & service- unfortunately, when we were there the restaurant smelled of a (mostly clean) outhouse. I hope it was just a bad day for them! Service was average for a Nepali place, no complaints.Drinks- the bar is more like a dressed up collection of hard liquor than a true bar. My friend ordered a vodka soda and got a warm shot of vodka with an offer to add some Coca-Cola to it. Ice was an after-thought that caused the shooter glass the whole thing was served in to spill over. To be safe I would recommend folks stick to either bottled beer or liquor that is good when served straight up, and warm. Tequila and scotch fit the bill.Food- We ordered an assortment of appetizers, followed by a pile of momos. Food was good, and we enjoyed our meal. Spice level was adequate although I would have personally enjoyed a bit more heat. On the whole, we left satisfied.Overall, I didn't hate it and the price was okay, but I think I'll try a different restaurant next time I'm in the mood for Nepali food.

Great restaurant! Our waiter, who I assume is also the owner/part owner, was telling us his food is amazing. We ordered the Pork Momos and the Chicken Thupka, both really tasty! The momo stuffing was seasoned well and the sauce almost reminded me of a Tikka Masala sauce. He told us he was from the East side of Nepal close to India, which would explain the close resemblance. The Chicken Thupka was full of flavor and really hits the spot on this snowy cold night. Will return to try more items on their menu!

You know it's a good sign when you don't have pictures of the food you ordered because it was inhaled the minute it reached your table. Located in a part of town you would not expect, this place serves delicious authentic Nepalese food.

This place is incredible. Two words - Authentic and Amazing! If you know what Indian Chinese street food tastes like, this is honestly the only place in the US where I've tasted that after India. This is a tiny little place in a tiny little corner, just after mount Oliver. If you're around Southside, this place is just a 15 minute drive. We ordered the veg chow mein, veg momo, veg thukpa and samosa. They served samosa with chole! And oh boy! It was soooo flavourful. Must try! We will be back soon

I love this place. As someone who moved to Carrick when I was in high school and have watched the neighborhood basically go down hill, I am SO happy that people are moving here and opening businesses. Extra happy that those businesses include great restaurants like the Nepali Asian Restaurant.First off, the owner is super nice and welcoming. My friend and I visited and he gave us recommendations and even two lassi drinks on the house. We ordered the chicken momo, chicken chali, and vegetable samosa. Everything was AMAZING. I visited again with my mom and we ordered the spicy chicken---also excellent.I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Friendly staff, great service, and excellent food! They are also on UberEats and offer take out. I know I will be visiting here every time I am back in town.

This is the best Nepali restaurant you will find in Pittsburgh. Pork sekuwa is the best. Best customer service.

Flavor explosion! Kind of a hybrid between Chinese and Indian. Spicy but not overwhelming. The dumplings and the samosas are extra special. We loved it. Worth going out of your way for. Free parking; hole in a wall; no atmosphere. Bring your own bottle; we brought wine, but beer would go better. Service very friendly.

This is a good little restaurant and bar. They've remodeled and it's a nice comfortable dining room now. We usually order chicken biryani, pork sekuwa, and samosas. The chicken biryani is excellent; its seasoning is delicious. I especially like the carrots, onions, and other vegetables in the biryani. The samosas are good, but I wish there was a sauce that came with it (especially chutney). The pork sekuwa was also seasoned very well and delicious. However, it was very fatty. I could only eat about 1/10 of the pork because it was just fat. I ended up licking the spices off of it.
