Neko's Restaurant & Lounge

I travel a lot for work, which means I have the pleasure (and sometimes, the displeasure) of eating at a wide variety of small-town restaurants. This place will forever hold a trophy in my taste bud hard drive. I ordered the Honey Hot boneless wings to start and the chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta for my entree, which came with a salad as well. The fact that the boneless wings are served by portioned weight for their price is fair and I appreciate that extra step taken by the staff (unlike some places where you'll always pay the same price for chicken, but never receive the same amount of chicken). The salad was a little "blah"; just lettuce, croutons and onion.... I don't think A few extra veggie options on there would upset anybody, but overall it was crisp and fresh.The chicken parm? Forgettaboutit!! It's just like Nan used to make... the chicken cutlet was tenderized, breaded and fried to absolute perfection. I mean, every bite was a fresh burst of true euphoria for the pallet. The spaghetti was mixed with the sauce and then more sauce added on top... long story short, it 'checks all the boxes' so-to-speak. I could try to continue to put it in words to express how delicious every bite of this entree was, but I think there's a character limit..Finally, on to the dessert... the desserts are hand made from scratch and every single option sounded delicious. I, of course, had to go with the Strawberry crunch cheesecake cake.... I have no words.. the cheesecake was creamy and delightful and the strawberry cake on top was the absolute perfect texture you could ever expect out of a cake. I shouldn't have eaten the whole slice at 11:30 pm... but that's exactly what happened, and I have zero regrets. If you're in the area looking for a family friendly place to grab a quick bite, this is the place to go!

Nice little place. The servers were very friendly and the food was good. I had the spinach salad with chicken for lunch and it was good. I would definitely eat here again when in the area.

We absolutely Loved this place! For starters, we had the housemade potato chips and chicken fingers. Yum. My husband and son had pizza. I had the pierogie lasagna which came with warm bread and a side salad. We were enjoying everything so much that we just had to have dessert. We had the strawberry scooter crunch cheesecake, oreo cheesecake, and cannoli's. Highly recommend!

The food was incredible my veal parm was very good and the wife's chicken Alfredo she loved it the table bread was delicious and the dessert was delicious to I will be back for more and the staff was great to

Last time I ate here it was terrible. I don't think anyone in the area cares what they serve or how they serve it anymore.

This was a great stop for a $20 lunch for two. Food and service were great. If we weren't leaving town, I would plan to come back.

Frozen pastas that are reheated, nothing tastes fresh or real. People in this town have a very low standard for food.

I stopped here because I wanted a sit-down meal and not just a sandwich. It's a family owned restaurant. I had no problem with chicken breast with vegetables, rice, salad and large roll. The service by the young waitress was very professional. Very informative about the menu, attentive and done with a smile. I would go back.

I now understand why Phil the Groundhog usually retreats to his burrow if this is the best in town.This restaurant was recommended to us as the best in town by the very nice and helpful desk clerk at the hotel. Service was lackluster and the table was sticky. Servers didn't seem to care enough to ask how the food was or if we wanted anything else. Worst of all the dish I ordered was almost inedible...perogi lasagna which tastes worse than it sounded. The salad was a joke...wilted iceberg which tasted like it had been in the refrigerator since the night before. I prefer to visit local restaurants but I would have been better off at Taco Bell.

The service was good and the place was nice. There is open seating so it was noisy. I got spaghettis and meatballs. Large portion but the sauce was bland as well as the two meatballs. The bread and salad were great though. My wife got lasagna and said it was pretty plain tasting too. Will try something different next time there.
