Nadine's

I was able to return to Nadine's after a five year absence. I was in the area and decided to stop for breakfast. I arrived around 7:40 AM on a Friday morning.Parking is still free, most seating is at the bar and there are a few tables.I had two eggs over medium, sausage, with home fries. All food was served pretty quickly. Nadine's is very clean and everyone was friendly.This is a quality stop in the Southside. I'm glad I popped back in. It was missed.

This is definitely a no frills kind of spot, but with friendly bar staff who can cook. We stopped in on a Saturday evening and sat down at the bar. There looked to be a few tables towards the back, but the place is small and its majority bar seating. We ordered two blue moons at $4.50 each, a cheeseburger with fries, and the roast beef sandwich with fries and gravy. I was surprised to see that the grill is located right at the bar. We watched as our food was prepared by the same bartender serving our drinks! The food was decent. Exactly what was expected. The burger was a good size patty and they stuck two pieces of cheese on there with the lettuce and tomato I asked for. The roast beef sandwich and fries were smothered with a thick, flavorful gravy. Everything is served on paper plates. It definitely gives off a family bbq vibe!

I've been living in the south side for a year and a half and always wanted to try Nadine's. I can't believe it took me this long. I went for the breakfast on a Saturday and it was quite busy. I did take out as it was pretty packed that day. But the food was delicious and affordable. I didn't even have enough time to take pictures beforehand as I was very hungry. But I will definitely be back!! Recommend for a cheap and good breakfast/brunch!

Chili was absolutely delicious and such a large portion, no leftovers, finished till the last spoonfull!Also shared the Pastrami sandwich, and the meat was piled high with no fatty pieces. Perfectly seasoned, I would come back for the same item! Also served with tasty fries! Owners were friendly, born and raised in the burgh! They'll not disappoint. Limited seating due to it being an older bar, we found a table in the back. No frills and price was amazing!

Fried bologna sandwich the way to go. Proper dive bar cheap booze and good bar food at reasonable prices

Nadine's is a great spot In southside! Has been on diners drive ins and dives - for good reason! A casual hole in the wall that's a Pittsburgh staple! Great food and spot!

Wow what a wonderful place. Family owned, operated and run. So down to earth is the atmosphere and the patrons. I sat at the bar for lunch and I had homemade stuffed pepper soup and a homemade pulled pork sangwitch. All the food is from scratch and local and amazing. The staff is so attentive. I always feel like I'm in my Mum's kitchen when I stop at Nadine's. I love you Nadine and the whole family.

Never ever would I recommend a fried bologna sandwich and now I am totally craving one!! Take me back to Nadine's please!!

Great little bar! Finally had the pleasure of checking this place out on New Year's Day. It was packed and so fun. We all got breakfast food to sop up our hangovers. The bartender/waitress was super friendly and efficient. We were served in a timely manner and enjoyed our breakfast. We sat right by the Guy Fieri posters so it was cool to read the history of the restaurant and their Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives write up. Will definitely return!

I ended up at Nadine's because I wanted a drink, and when I asked my phone for the closest bar, it looked expensive so I went to the second-closest instead. That was Nadine's. It wasn't expensive. It was relaxed and fun. I got the famous fried bologna sandwich. I don't think I would want to eat very many fried bologna sandwiches but this one was good and I do not regret my choice.A couple of days later I was on the way out of town and needed breakfast. "Hey," I said. "Why don't I got to Nadine's?" I went to Nadine's and got the Mixed Grill, which is a plate with a little bit of everything. (Eggs, b acon, peppers, sausage, potatoes, etc.). . It was good and it was cheap. I like Nadine's. Would I go back? 100%. I *did* go back.
