My Heroes Sub Shop

Before I even make mention of the food, I can't say enough good things about the friendliness of the gentleman working the register. If every business had someone like him, society would be a much better place.During my first visit I tried their Italian #1 with a side of fries that came out crispy and hot (steak fries btw). The sub was refreshing and my eyes were bigger than my stomach as I probably only needed a half.Reasonable prices and good quality, and with the excellent service I'll definitely be back to try some other options.

I have found my local sandwich spot... I am lucky to have my Hero Sub shop where I live. This is a no frills simple sandwich place, that is perfect for this guy. I absolutely love this kind of business, a place that only does a few things but does those things very well. no matter what sandwich you choose it will always be on that beautiful soft fresh bread. My go to is either the Italian cold cut or the cheesesteak, both are winners in my opinion. Service is always quick and friendly and served in a nice clean dining room. Cheap and GOOD. Past by this place for YEARS and just recently stopped in. I have been missing out. Nice size hoagies at a great price. Meats are fresh sliced and the hoagies aren't overloaded with veggies. No bloated menus. Just straightforward options that offer a nice range of different subs. Stop paying outrageous prices for Sheetz disappointing hoagies and go here.

Ok this is my second visit this year and I love the onion rings and the bun fresh and soft. I enjoyed my sandwich but I think if I oder again I need to ask for extra meat great food served fresh and hot but I can use a little more meat on my sub. The environment was clean the menu is visible to the eye and the staff was friendly as well. Next I'll try to bring the family or just get takeout. I try to stop after therapy but I seen the have a apple dessert must try next time

I've been passing here for 12 years & finally stopped on a Friday afternoon after reading YELP reviews. Yes, this is your regulation old fashioned sub shop. They slice the meat for your sub when you order. They have a menu on the wall next to the counter & you order and your subs are ready pretty quickly. They have about 20 different subs, including a cheese steak and chicken cheese steak. I had a #1 which was Italian with ham, cappicola, pepperoni and a cheesesteak. Their full size subs are big, maybe 12" and the bread was soft & fresh. It's definitely worth a stop over going to Subway or a chain. The subs aren't quite a big a Jersey Mike's but they are cheaper & worth the price.

I love my hero. I used to work in Beaver Co. and would stop in for a sub all the time. Gentlemen that owns it is always very friendly and a nice guy. Great little family business. All meats and cheeses cut to order. Nice rolls. Place hasn't changed in years food or inside decor and that's a good thing as far as I am concerned. Now when I visit the area I always stop in for a sub. I was just here Thursday and wanted to go again Friday but couldn't find the time. You won't be disappointed.

I've probably passed here a million times and have always said that I need to stop some day. Today was finally that day. I went in and picked it my food and was in and out in less than five minutes. I ordered the number one and couldn't even wait to get to work to take my first bite. I was really impressed with how fresh the meat and bread was. It was about $9 for a 12 inch sub. Well worth it.

The food is always fresh the father and son who run the place are always super friendly and cheerful. Theres always specials and fish on Friday's.

We love their hoagies, they are so tasty and delicious! The bread is so good! Also - they are the nicest people. They are very supportive to their community events and are just good people! Great owners with great sandwiches!

Stood there for what seemed like forever and felt ingnored by staff while people sitting down yelled out requests which he happily filled and not even a I'll be right with you. Food was probably good I never found out due to poor customer service
