My Favorite Sweet Shoppe

Stumbled upon this spot while seeking out a Starbuck's and I'm so happy I did! Sweets galore including two counters, ordered in and made in house. I chose the made in house case. I could literally see them rolling the buckeyes as I ordered them! Yum is an understatement this chocolate (and peanut butter) was sooo good! I also had a cookie dough Oreo... worth every penny of $2.50. Prices are more than reasonable for quality chocolate and service is great. They were very respectful of my tree nut allergy and explained the risks of contact with their products, being careful to change gloves for my treats. They were also kind about patient recommendations for a first timer! I don't know when I will be in the area again but if you happen to live in the area or be close it's very worth stopping by! Do not leave there without a buckeye! (Or several)

We were regulars for every holiday and gift giving occasion. No more, I'm afraid. Customer service is terrible. I called to confirm that a specialty item was available. Told yes. Arrived, told I had to special order it. That's fine, but the rude approach of the woman was almost comical. Dismissive and sarcastic "I have no idea who you spoke to, if you did call, but we don't have those here without ordering" Giving another chance, I went back to purchase holiday gifts. The young woman working literally could not be bothered. After standing at the counter for minutes while she was making candy, I had to apologize for needing assistance. Met with eye roll. And......the truffles had mold in them. So disappointed in the decline of this store.

A great selection of chocolates, so many to choose from! The packaging is also very cute.

I loveeeee sweets. I could live on chocolate alone and I would be sooo happy.I was in heaven when I walked in and saw all the options. They have candy old and new school like lady taffy and those pretend cigarettes. I didn't get any of those. I saw Carmel apples and I needed one. They were enormous and super yummy ! They cut it up for me and it was still warm because they just made it.We ordered a chocolate and peanut butter covered pretzel. It was very good and super delicious. We will definitely be coming back here to get more goodies. It was pretty reasonably priced for the size of the goodies.

I was gifted a box for chocolate sweets from this shop and was thoroughly impressed with the quality. There was a smooth meltaway peanut butter chocolate, a coconut almond and a salted pecan truffle. All were equally delicious. Now I can't wait to go check out the store in person.

I just happened to be walking past between the UPS store and Starbucks, and saw this cute lil' candy shoppe on the way, so I stopped in. There were lots of employees working on making candy and fudge, and the place smelled delicious. They had all kinds of candy, to include home-made in a glass case, sold by the piece or pound, and a lot of pre-made packaged candies, and bubble gum. I noticed they had a case for gelato, but it was empty, so I am guessing that is a seasonal item. I bought a few items from the case, and everyone was helpful and pleasant. I will be back next time my sweet-tooth needs some sugar, and I am in the area.

Close your eyes and face away from the front of this kitschy little shop in the south hills. Open them. You should imagine you're on a boardwalk somewhere on the East Coast. Imagine you can hear seagulls, waves crashing, and the sounds of people having a good time. Great little sweet shoppe with gelato, Home made truffles, chocolate covered sweets and treats. Even treats for the pooch. A bit pricey, two gelatos was 14 bucks. We tried peanut butter cup and salted caramel. Both were decadent and loaded with different textures. Not worth 7 bucks though. Free parking, bonus star there. They also have those hard to find candy bars from youth. Bun candy bars, Reggie bars, Milk Shake Bars, pixie sticks and more.

This small, quaint, family owned sweet shop is located in the plaza in which I work. It is very convenient as I can walk to it after work and not have to fight for a parking spot! The last two times I have been there, the employees were new or being trained on the job. It appeared as if there was high turnover, however with a little help for experienced employees, I was able to purchase my items. I have tried their fudge, however, I often gravitate towards their homemade truffles. They are sold by weight and I have not had one I haven't like to this date. They sell several other chocolate candies that they make on site, while other products are brought in and may be purchased by the piece. The cost of the fudge is pricey, but I think fair compared to other small candy shops that sell fudge. In addition, this small store sells all kinds of small candies - the type of goodies you may find in a pinata. The options are pretty endless and you get sucked in to buying more than you originally plan to! I am willing to pay a little more for homemade chocolates, especially when it supports a small, family owned shop like this one. After every purchase, you receive a 10% discount code on your receipt for your next one, and it will definitely bring you back for more!

The shop makes the best candy apples. Remember to order them in advance, they're super fresh!

Very nice inside. Even on a hot day they keep it icy cool inside with no humidity. Add in some frozen gelato and it's the perfect place to sit and cool off. I like the huge selection of fresh bite sized chocolates. The selection of gelatos is nice. Both flavors I've tried so far were delicious. They also have chocolate caramel covered apples.
