Fun, Fun, fun!I went with my sisters to see what all the buzz was about. This place was so cool. The illusions were amazing and the exhibits were fun to interact and interactive. This place is great for people of all ages and you can take so really cool pics in multiple areas. The also have some merchandise in the front for keepsakes and the staff was very helpful and available when needed. Definitely a cool place to visit anytime of year.

This Event opportunity was awesome. I had to reschedule due to weather and they were very helpful and flexible. The MOI (as they call themselves) is easily located on the North Shore, next to "Tom's Watch."Parking was super easy since there were no big events happening on a Saturday at 1pm. (You get timed tickets, and this is brilliant-it was not crowded at all and we got to see/try out every exhibit without a wait.)Once again, Yelp has put together a great event/opportunity for their Elites! I can't wait to share my experience with everyone I know. Thank you!

I have to admit that the hype is a bit misleading. This is a pretty nice place to visit once, but I don't see it as being a place most people would return to often. Once you've gone through, you've seen everything and it doesn't take as long as you might expect.I think a disclaimer would be helpful that this venue is more a venue for 2 people, since several exhibits almost require 2 people. Also, a lot of the museum is based on photography. I went at 10 AM and was there alone. The staff were very accomodating and talked with me often. That alone made the experience a lot better than wandering around by myself. Some parts of the exhibits are set for a certain height, and there are steps here and there for shorter people or small children to get a step up to view them properly. The gift shop is small but well maintained. There are small versions of the puzzle section, as well as a variety of shirts and branded merchandise, like mugs, key chains and other souvenir items. There are a nice amount of optical illusions, many involving mirrors that give the space a magic show kind of appeal. While not a large venue, there are parts to appeal to everyone.

It was absolutely packed in there on a Saturday midday. It was pretty cool though. Great for little kids. The puzzles don't come with any instructions, but I guess that's the fun of it. The rooms are pretty cool and there are plenty of places for photo ops.

A super cool and fun thing to do right in Pittsburgh. Located in the North Shore- the Museum of Illusions is an exhibit museum with interactive components. They have insane illusions that are intriguing visually and make you think. They can host private events and larger groups like field trips. It is super easy to purchase your tickets online. You just pick a time slot and go. The museum itself takes about an hour to walk through but has a ton of cool stuff. Super friendly staff that is walking around, if you need any help at all! Tons of photo ops and truly an experience that is genuinely intriguing. Nothing is at all quite as it seems!

This is a super fun place. We had lots of fun even without the kids here with us. Make sure you read the instructions and descriptions before play each illustration. The staff here were really helpful and friendly, they will take your pictures if you didn't go with enough people (for certain illustrations). The place is very clean & with restrooms on site. The gift shop is small but cute.Ticket price was a little pricey for the size of the museum (not big at all) and with very minimal military discount. Street parking or nearby garage.

"Yeah, we're playin' those mind games foreverProjectin' our images in space and in time"(John Lennon)This place will first play games with then blow your mind completely. Some of the exhibits so powerfully mess with your senses of color, balance and perception that you'll hear a bit of a disclaimer when you buy your tickets for those sensory challenged. As you progress through the museum, your perception of images will change, or an image will appear, then disappear, or morph into something different as if by magic. Are you standing in a room that's tilted, or are you tilted? Do you feel yourself holding on for dear life inside a roaring vortex tunnel? Are you walking on the walls or hanging from the ceiling? Are your friends changing size before your very own disbelieving eyes? OMG, is that a severed head on a dining room platter? The illusions and images are magical, and you will love your visit here.

Place had some really cool exhibits but it was also apparent the upkeep isn't priority. A one time visit is good enough

Absolutely awesome new spot in the North Shore, tourists and locals put this on your list! In an hours time, we were able to have so much fun and could have stayed even longer. You will get tons of instagram worthy photos, in addition to some laughs, and jaw dropping moments of amazement. Unlike other similar museums I have been to, the team here was very hands on, which was GREAT, so many of the illusions would not have been nearly as cool without their guidance. Perfect for dates, for friend hang outs, and families, this is a must do!
