Murrysville Golf Club

Came out for a later afternoon nine; played the course before a few times, a few years ago. Had my son with me.Fairways were in good shape, greens even more so. Staff was friendly and professional. Active Covid precautions. Enjoyed our nine. More the boy (13 yrs), since he beat me by four.

This is a fun course. Just challenging enough to test your skill. The fairways and greens were pretty well-maintained. Friendly staff, we did end up going during an outing so the play was rather slow but we were warned ahead of time. We still finish the round in under four hours.If you were in the area and looking for a fun time, go play this course.

Wasn't impressed with the $42 price I had to pay. The greens were just okay, but the fairways, rough and tee boxes were completely destroyed. The staff wasn't friendly at all. I was actually thinking about holding my company outing there (80-100 people) but there's no way I would consider it now.

The course is in terrible shape. The fairways have dirt strips. The greens have big patches of dirt and weeds. We were walking and the staff told us we had to let groups in carts play through without knowing our pace of play. I DO NOT like this golf course.

Im giving this course five stars because i golf there and i don't want to upset the golf gods. If you are an avid golfer you know that the golf gods directly impact your game. I like the course. Short, fairly priced, friendly staff and have been kind to our league for the last 7 years.

As public golf courses go this a well kept fun place to play, fair for the average golfer, not a long course but if your ego dictates play from the Blue tees. Overall you need to play smart and use all the clubs in your bag.

short track, get a lot of play....charge resort pricing for hacker track....no senior rate....conditionis good, decent albeit slower greens, gps normally messed up on course as they flipped the 9's and changed the layout some years ago. not worth the money if you're paying full freight on this place, but if you can find the discount books, it's about worth that. full rate is like $50 or $55 and, like i said, no senior rate....Guy in clubhouse got angry and gave me crap when I asked if they had a senior rate. Will only play there when my league goes there and i have the half off discount in my book.

Should have read the reviews. Might be worth $25 definitely not $45. No yardages ever. GPS do not work as they must have changed up course so you have no idea how far you are. Rough is like your back yard if you never ever did anything to it. Yuck

Disappointed and disrespected is an understatement. Arriving to the pro shop a quarter before four o'clock and immediately getting treated as if I was an inconvenience and hassle for them to serve me nine holes. The clerk working the register was polite enough to greet me by saying "we close at six o'clock so you might want to hurry up if you play 9." This man was clearly completely unprofessional, and I've never been treated like this in my twenty years of golfing. Additionally, making my encounter with this clerk even better, there register was down so he insisted I rush out and play then come back and pay him. As my round was over, I go up to pay. When I arrived back at the pro shop, he accused me of immaturely driving through the fairways. I responded and told him "Must've been someone else because I wouldn't do that." This man argues back and says, "our members said they saw you do so." At this point, I've realized the situation and how unprofessional this employee truly was as I walked away. Furthermore, as I'm walking to get my wallet out of my car, he accuses me of trying to leave without paying him (remember their register was temporarily down) and threatened to "remember my face and not let me play their again." This whole encounter was undeserving on my end as a customer and I honestly regret going out today and golfing after this employee ruined that enjoyment for me.

My wife played there today and had to quit after 4 holes due to an all day rain. They refused to give her a rain check!Steer clear of this place if it even looks like rain. The very RUDE jerk in the office will probably treat you the same.Nice way to make easy money...but good luck getting return customers.
