Moonlight Inn

We came to the Moonlight Inn as part of a work lunch. I was in between three stars and five for this establishment. I settled on four stars which seemed fair. The place sits kinda in the middle of a neighborhood in Vandergrift. The inside is pretty small with a nice bar, but pretty limited seating. The outside deck is pretty nice with more comfortable seating arrangements. I had the ribeye steak sandwich which was really good. The side salad I had was pretty standard, but fine.Overall, pretty good service rounds out a solid four stars.

Bar food with a view! It was packed the night we stumbled upon it but to our luck we got a perfect seat for sunset. As I mentioned it was really busy and we noticed only two servers so even though drinks and food didn't come out quick, they were hustling. Great little place for a nice evening to enjoy company

service to get drinks quick. food over an hour to get served. fish was over fried and to get a check took even longer. will not be back.

Super nice waitress. Really small var area but very clean and cozy. Sat outside which has an amazing view. Had beer cheese and pretzels and they were super. Had 6 whole wings with dry rub ams they were huge, and cooked and seasoned perfectly (not too salty). Steak hoagie and fries was the other entree and it was really nice size and very tasty. Only thing off was the french fries , they were just dark and oily. Will definitely try again .

Unbelievable. I ordered $120 of take out and left feeling horribly ABUSED by a trio of nasty women.I was paying my bill while waiting for my order at the bar and had a question on charges for items I DID NOT ORDER. My order was taken over the phone by a teenager who was rude and dismissive, leading me to make sure that it was correct before leaving there.My order included two salads and three dozen chicken wings and over $10 in charges for dressing. When I asked a woman to help me understand all these random $.95 charges, she didn't want bothered. Thirty seconds and an explanation is all that was required. Instead I was treated as though I wanted something for nothing. She corrected THEIR error, slapped a refund down and involved another woman and the teenager in berating me. When my rather LARGE order was brought out and I checked to make sure that everything I paid for was there, I endured further verbal abuse by these three.Sorry for the long story but I cannot stress enough how upsetting this was. In fairness, the food was good, the wings were delicious, but the fried cheese balls and cauliflower were very small orders and the salad had some brown iceburg in it.Never in my 60+ years have I been treated this way. Needless to say, whether these nasty women are owners or hired help, I won't ever order from there again.

First and last time I'll be going here. The outside deck and seating was beautiful and inviting but the food was of poor quality. My date and I both ordered chicken sandwiches. The chicken was literally a frozen patty you can buy at a grocery store. Really, who serves this?? Service was poor. Waited 25 minutes for our chicken patty sandwiches. We were there around 5 pm on a Friday and by the time we were leaving all the tables were taken, so they must be doing something right but it wasn't the food I ordered. Oh and they up-charged for raw onions and the frozen chicken sandwich was $11.25?!?

My best friend took me here last night. This was my first time here. I ate so many special recipe wings I made myself sick. So so good!!!! Service was phenomenal!!! My friend stated that they have had a cosmetic overhaul on the inside. Everything looked clean and neat. Absolutely wonderful experience and can't wait to go back!!!

Have always had great food and good service. Small inside but nice enclosed outside area. Burgers and wings are excellent. Weekly specials are a great savings. I highly recommend the Moonlight Inn. Alan E.

Everything was not good! Will not go there again! Servier was very rude! Food was verry bad!

I will not return again. Service was slow, it took over an hour for the food to be served. The waitress walked by several times and looked at my empty glass, had to get her attention for a refill. I ordered a reuben, worst I have ever had, sliced thick and chewed like leather. My wife ordered a hamburger, over cooked and hard as a rock. How this place stays in business is beyond me.
