Moon Pop & Beer

I can make this easy, good price for the cases of Yuengling I came for plus they had the Penn brewery Oktoberfest I wanted. Place is pretty cut and dry, beer of all kinds. Every time I'm in Pittsburgh this is my place. Staff is helpful. I have no complaints.

Great selection. Prices are on par with Giant Eagle and Walmart, and are better than many distributors. I'd say that for the price you can walk away with a decent beer, there is a fantastic selection. (usually you get one or the other, not both)

Nice selection of beer, didn't go there for Pop. I was looking for a particular brand of German beer (Kölsch). Unfortunately they didn't have or know of it. The people working there was very nice and looked up what I was searching for and also showed me to their other German beer selections. I ended up choosing some Octoberfest and Hofbräuhaus München 6-packs.

I mean it's a beer store and they have good prices on a lot of what they carry but jeez they need to take a lesson or two or ten in customer service. It's as though doing their jobs is a chore. Why work there if you're going to be miserable?Really uncomfortable as a customer to be treated with such disregard. For that reason alone I don't need to return.

So many options here at this beer distributor. I don't have any complaints. Lots to see and a couple of times that I have gone in, there was someone as soon as you walk in giving samples of drinks. That was nice and refreshing. The have slushies behind the counter that look super yummy and I may have to get one the next time I'm in there!

I don't think this owner knows what customer service is. Went to get a case of beer for someone, so I asked the cashier. She didn't know, but the slug of an owner is reclining on a chair behind the counter. He points to where it should be (several aisles away) and what it should be near. Hey, maybe get off your fat *ss and take me there. Cashier tells me there are 2 cases. I finally find the area and there aren't any. When I go tell them that, the owner proceeds to tell me 'oh sometimes the employees don't do the inventory'. And he's still reclining. Dresses like a slob too.

I love beer and have become a bit of a snob. I have my favorites and I steer away from the mass-produced domestics! Being from Philadelphia, I have my preferred brewerys and have been delighted that on any given day, Moon Pop & Beer has at least 2 of my top 3 in stock. Their extensive selection makes this a very browseable distributor.The staff are friendly, polite, and I always enjoy shopping here.

Super nice folks with a great sense of humor. Great selection and very handy when staying in town. Highly recommended! Oh, and they love Veterans ‍

I called searching for Young's Double Chocolate Stout. The guy who answered the indicated they had it, but when I arrived, he took to the Yuengling section of the store.Everyone was very friendly, but I drove 20 minutes out of my way and it was a wasted trip.

I recommend going to the House of Brews in Robinson Town Center instead of here. At House of Brews, you will get friendly service, people that are happy you have come to the store, and knowledgeable workers, exactly the opposite of Moon pop and beer.
