Monico's Bar & Grill

The food is always a hit here. Some of the best bar wings around, plus you have to try the breads. The Reuben is my favorite, but the buffalo chicken is a close second! I also recommend going during lent for the fish fry! Easy parking and service is always quick. Your typical small town dive bar!

Great fish sandwich, huge with a very good roll. Friendly local bar. Lots of TVs within viewing range.

My wife and I were in town for a celebration of life and we were looking for a Pittsburgh style bar to catch a snack and cocktail!!! When we looked up "bar" on Yelp and found Monico's.. Great place, quaint, clean and comfortable. The young lady bartender was very tentative and accommodating.. Reminded me of home. So glad we stopped.. Took away the anxiety we were feeling.. If you ever get the chance to stop by and check it out, do! It will not disappoint!!Chef JP

Fun, neighborhood-style bar where everyone knows your name or are ready to make a new friend. It's located along a 3 way intersection, which can serve as a nice reminder to stop in as you pass by.Inside, there is a large, square-shaped bar in the center of the room which is surrounded by a few booths and small tables. Cozy surroundings, and there are several TV's set up around the room to catch the current sports game. Nice variety of menu items to choose from. Homemade soups are usually the go to, along with their Antipasta Bread. It consists of everything that a antipasta is prepared with, but is wrapped, and baked inside bread dough, and is served with a side of dipping oil. Superb is the word!Monico's is a nice spot to go to for a quick drink and to have a chance to catch-up with the local news of the day. Note: Smoking is permitted and parking can be tight.

So a friend that I have had for 30 years is the owner of this bar. and even if we weren't friends, I would give the same review. And if the place sucked, I would say so. Now that's out of the way, my review. It's definitely a local spot with a built-in set of regulars. A few years ago we had a Someplace Else (for those of you that remember that place) reunion at packed the house. The bartenders were on point with the backs to the wall crowd. No one went without a drink and didn't have to wait long to get it.The only food I've had is the pizza and it was decent.This is a good place to unwind and shoot the shit with friends and patrons.

We just tried this place for the first time. We got a pepperoni pizza, wings, and fries to go. The pizza was very cheesy and I love that they offer full wings. The Cliff Sauce was a nice mixture of hot garlic butter and other seasonings. Great bar food and fun atmosphere. Can't wait to come back to dine in.

Pretty small little hole in the wall bar, but the food here is really, really good. I don't frequent here a ton just because it's too smokey for my liking but our golf league will stop by for food sometimes and everything is typically really good. The french dip is my go to, but I've also enjoyed the pizza (white pizza is great as well) and they are known for their "stuffed breads". It's basically like a stromboli or calzone.. the buffalo chicken one is killer!

I ordered a fish sandwich for takeout. The size of fish was large and the bun was wrapped separately. It also came with French fries. The fish sandwich was good! I wish the fries were fresh cut. They accept cards which is a plus.

Really like this place! Food is very good, and the prices are the best I've seen in a long time. I've always had good, friendly service. I'd recommend it!

I really enjoy the the food and the bartenders but took a star away because the bar is too small to allow cigars.
