Mineos Pizza

LARGE PORTIONS. The waitress explained 1 piece of pizza isn't enough (for an adult), 2 pieces you will be comfortably full, but 3 pieces you'll be taking home leftovers. Everybody heard the waitress and our table was overflowing with food. Great reviews on the wedding soup, Buffalo bacon pizza, white pizza, chicken wrap, & cheese fries. Lots of parking.

2nd time at Mineo's. We got the pizza and enjoyed both times and also like the bar area. However this time we had a very long wait for the pizza (90 min) and they said our order was lost. No one apologized or offered a discount. Pizza was good when we received it. We would return but management should have been involved since we had an issue.

Took my Mother to Mineo's (at her request) for her birthday. It's super close to where she lives and has a great reputation for food. The pizza was good, the thing that was surprising was that the pepperoni is UNDER the cheese (and boy there's lots of it)! The chicken parm was okay, a little too fried for my taste and I found it odd it didn't come with a noodle. The house salad was bomb, the dressing was magnificent - probably my favorite part of the meal. Our service was great! The waitress was so friendly and personable and made us feel at home. The place is small and if you don't get there early enough you could be waiting a long time. They have a really nice bar and tv set up, wouldn't be a bad place to watch a game. Will definitely be back!

Service js always good. Attentive and kind and offered suggestions. I had the stuff peppers because they are amazing and my daughter has to have the Sicilian slices. A bit too much crust for me but she likes it a lot! Salad was the best house salad ever- large and lots of stuff- cheese, olives, cucumbers etc..... dressings are homemade and the Italian and ranch were outstanding. I love the wildwood location- right by Rachel Carson trial if you want to take a hike first!

This place has been on my list to try for a while. Very nice family-run business. Wife and I came on a Wednesday for date night (Wednesday is $10 off wine bottles). Ordered some wine, a house salad, arancini, and then split a "small" hand tossed pizza (that was still huge despite descriptor).Wine was great and reasonably priced. The house salad was also great (recommend the peppercorn dressing). Nice chunks of mozzarella, tons of greens, peppers, onions, cucumbers, etc. And the arancini was fantastic. Often times it's overly dense and it loses all subtlety. Not the case here. Really good! As for the pizza, the crust was A1. Thick but not too doughy. And I don't know if it's firebrick oven or whatever they use, but the crisp, slight char on the crust is amazing. Only knock is I'll say the pizza was way too cheesy for my taste, but I also find that's the case with most Pittsburgh pizza outfits. I did my best to carve off the cheese I didn't want and it was fine. Had there been a third less cheese overall, it probably would have been perfect. But I also get that's personal preference.We will definitely be coming back again (and probably requesting light cheese).

Judging from my first takeout order, there is no shift in quality compared to their other locations. Our pizza was hot and ready when we arrived and everyone working inside was incredibly friendly. We also tried some of their desserts and really enjoyed their chocolate ganache cake and the tiramisu.This was a special trip and we purchased a Tshirt to take some photos with our 2 month old. I grew up on Mineo's and am really glad there is now a location closer to my current house. Next time, we'll be eating in and enjoying a beer!

We had lunch today, a shared fish sandwich platter, at Mineos. Given that we only had one off-menu item and the dining room was nearly deserted, this review is pretty superficial and of limited use. The fish sandwich and fries were very good and the coleslaw was decent. The price was fair, although they added, undisclosed, a couple of percent extra if you paid with a credit card, which virtually everyone does. That's a despicable practice. The interior of the building has been nicely redone since we were last there, in the Tuscan Inn days. Service was prompt and friendly. The regular menu is what you should expect from a red-sauce Italian restaurant, with low prices and a decent, fairly priced, all Italian wine list. We decided to return soon for a weekday dinner.

After last Friday, went for 5 stars to 1. Ordered pizza with mushrooms and sausage (and I know the sausage is under the cheese so you don't need to tell me that again). But there was no sausage anywhere on this pizza. And it just tasted different--by different, I mean not good.Spoke with the manager on the phone. What a nasty person even after explained I love their pizza and didn't need to hear about the sausage is under the cheese (I buy it all the time) and the recipe for the sauce is never different. Well it was!!!!! And I drive a distance just to get this pizza. Not anymore.Being defensive isn't going to get you any business. Anyone running a business would have offered something to compensate for the poor quality of the food served. And, their pizza is expensive to begin with.

Enjoy the pizza, salads, wedding soup. Service is very good. Our order arrives in a timely matter.Good casual dining atmosphere.

A regular weekly stop! Service is always excellent and the food is even better! I've had just above everything on their menu and was never disappointed! Pizza is my favorite and unlike any other. So much cheese! YUM! Meatball Parm with ricotta is a favorite as is Gio's Beans & Greens definitely add in sausage for a minimal extra cost. Wedding soup is one of the best I've had and the craft beers, wines and seasonal drink specials offer a great variety! You won't be disappointed! They are incredibly busy around the standard dinner time on the weekends but it's worth the wait or call ahead for take out at their convenient lower level take out area with a separate entrance to avoid the busyness of the main restaurant area!
