Mikes Penn Avenue Grille

Every time I go to lunch or dinner at Mikes it's always delicious! I've tried many menu items and nothing has disappointed. The staff are awesome and always treat you like family. Wait times are rarely an issue and food is brought out quick. They have daily lunch and dinner specials that can be found on their Facebook page everyday. Mikes is a must stop if you are in town and looking for good food at a very fair price. Highly recommend!

I have never had a bad meal at Mike's. Lunch was Fish and Fries basket. The Panko crusted Cod was light and not greasy at all. The fish was tender and flavorful. Great French fries!! The Geman Chocolate Pie was Fabulous!!

No complaints. It's always top shelf. The food. The service. The atmosphere. Love it! You can't go wrong with any menu item. All appetizers are a must try. If I need something from my childhood, the now "humble" hand grenade is a personal fav. Jackie's Favorite is one of my favorites also. If you're in the mood for a thick steak, please, come sit down. And to my friends that like to seafood and then to eat it and yes, I said that on purpose, then you must come try this place.

I was craving a steak salad, and it was the best in town. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Food & service are both over the top. Great menu selection too! If anyone has never been there you need to go!

What happened to my old review and pictures? Is this one of those Yelp issues where a single restaurant has multiple entries? Oh well...Stopped in for lunch, I got the beer battered cod. It was excellent. Fries were homemade, the cod was freshly battered. But, was not beer batter as I am used to having. Was more a thin batter. But it came out hot and good. Tossed in a pic. I really love their prime rib. They do that Friday and Saturday. Used to have it Sunday too, hadn't been here in awhile, but menu said prime rib Friday and Saturday. Wife had some lunch special. Baked fish on home fries with a raspberry vinaigrette. It was ok. She liked it. I said "eh". I have never been disappointed by the food at Mikes PENN Grille. Always good, sometimes exceptional. Beats heck out of that place down the street...

Well we are in from Illinois for work with a major corporation and decided to try this place out! Let's just say 15 minutes of the 4 of us sitting at a bar without taking our order for drinks. When the bartender showed up she took our order and another 10 MINUTES GOES BY. We got up and left. With our 14 crews of 150 employees they will know NOT TO GO TO THIS DIVE! Work customer service ever in 43 states . They were NOT BUSY AT ALL! 2 other waitresses just stared at us! Epic failure!!

Had a carry out order with 2 items. The grilled chicken salad was missing items which were stated. Called & left message for the manager to call. She texted back & was going to call but never did. No resolution in the situation.

We've been going here for as long as I can remember, and it's a definite go to. The peppers in oil are the absolute best I've ever had. I wish they'd sell them!!! Everything else is always delicious. You won't be disappointed, give them a try.

Probably the worst meal I did not eat. The Italian sampler is frozen fried food at best. I had a sirloin and scallops. The meat was overcooked and tasted old, didn't eat it. My son had the Rib eye which was so undercooked it was uneatable. The Walley fish was an appetizer size, the scallop's were eatable. The wait was forever and the waitress didn't even bother to ask why both meats sat on the plate. Never again!
