Decent pizza, nothing special or worth going out of your way for. This is the sort of place you'd eat at if it was late at night and you wanted cheap greasy food. I tried the cheese calzone in a small size, and it was served with some tomato sauce on the side.The calzone was alright. It's edible. The sauce was the first drawback for me. It came in a relatively small container. Tasted completely canned; no chopped tomatoes, herbs, or anything to make it pop. The sauce was also stone cold when I received it, further making me think it came from a can.The calzone itself came in a decent portion. But, for $16, I expected a lot more than this. Was it filled with cheese? Yes, it was, and that's definitely a plus. It was also not too bready or soggy, and had a nice buttery topping. But, parts of the dough were a little raw. The cheese calzone comes with Ricotta, feta, Parmesan, provolone, mozzarella, and potentially cheddar. It was this orange cheese which I thought was the cheddar, although cheddar isn't listed as an included cheese. Really strange flavor that doesn't work in a calzone. There's also not enough ricotta in my opinion.All in all, definitely not the best in the area but some decent pizza.

Allegheny County Health Department issued a consumer alert for this restaurant on May 3rd, 2023. A recent inspection found pizza plates sitting in rodent droppings, and a mixer and single-service items covered in rodent droppings. The front counter, including floor-wall junctions, were encrusted with mouse droppings.Rodent droppings also were discovered inside and under all items in a small side room; on shelving; on all shelves below the kitchen counters; throughout the employee restroom floor and on the shelf with the pizza plates that go in the oven.Additionally food-contact surfaces were soiled, and cutting boards and the deli slicer contained food debris. Raw chicken wings in the walk-in cooler were spoiled.The inspection also noted that walls throughout the pizzeria have old splattered food, grease, and grime build-up. The restroom toilet was leaking.

Ordered take-out, got chicken parm,I would have liked to enjoy it, but there was a piece of jet black hair in my pasta-Ordered a Caesar salad also and luckily that was hair-free but not enough to be considered dinner!!! Oh well I guess!!!!!

Well I ordered the steak pizza because they are very tasty. However,... the main ingredient - the steak - was very scant. And for a $20 pie hardly worth it.

Considering how early most of Pittsburgh shuts down, I was happy to find a place open for delivery at 10pm on a Sunday! We ordered an extra-large mushroom pizza, and it was delivered on time and was nice a hot. It also came with a side of ranch dressing, which was fun to dip the crust into.The pizza itself was good - I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but for a late-night dinner it's definitely a good option

Multiple issuesOrdered a calzone and a slice of Oreo cheesecake. The calzone was ok, nothing to rave about. The Oreo cheesecake tasted like an old refrigerator. It was discolored and smelled spoiled. Threw it in the trash and spit out the bite that I had taken. The delivery driver couldn't find me on a city street and when I told him that he wasn't on my porch, he said, I'm sorry I don't speak English. I had to go outside in my bare feet and walk down the block to find him. Cost nearly $40 for those two items and it was a terrible experience. Do not order from here.

This is the ONLY business that is consistent and knocks it out of the park EVERY time!!! This place deserves it flowers ! Ever since they opened years back their food has been perfect and always arrived hot and in the perfect condition every single time! I am always happy with my order ! They never make mistakes either. Ordered via Slice & never received the order. As per slice app order was delivered on time. IM'd via the app & Slice rep reported checked w/ restaurant, driver did leave with order & should deliver shortly. Received call from driver who reports had delivered food 10 minutes prior to my IM to Slice. Informed no food received & then driver stated forgot part of order. Then called restaurant who transferred me to driver who continued to insist he left part of order, but they are supposedly remaking & resending order, but still not yet received. I'll never order from this restaurant again - either thru Slice or directly.
