Mi Fan

I came here on Saturday evening around 6:30pm with three friends and I was excited to try it since it opened very recently. This is where the old Wings Over Pittsburgh - East Liberty used to be and they kept a lot of the inside decor (canvas photos of wings, old soft drink machine, etc) so don't expect any frills when it comes to the interior. There's six tables that seat two or four people.Once our entire group got there I put in our orders and they came out pretty quickly. All the food came out in styrofoam take out containers and it seems to be more of a takeout place. The portions are ENORMOUS. Between the four of us we probably only needed two of the four entrees we ordered and we all went home with plenty of leftovers. The prices are extremely reasonable for what we got as well. My favorites were the combination lo mein (the shrimp in it was delicious) and the minced braised pork over rice. I also really enjoyed the gyudon over rice. I thought that the curry chicken over rice was just okay (seemed a little bland in my opinion because I really like a strong curry flavor generally) but my friend liked it and ended up taking that one home.I saw one person working there when I came in and I'm assuming that there's someone else working in the kitchen. He was quiet but friendly and even gave us adorable Mi Fan keychains at the end of our visit there. I would definitely come back to try more of their dishes and get my hands on that lo mein and that minced braised pork over rice again!

Stopped in for lunch. Small place with a few tables. Nice white tables. The food comes in a styrofoam container for eat in or take out. Most were taking it out. The portions are large and reasonably priced. The minced braised pork was a good choice. Tasty and not really minced but small bite sizes pork. Came with some broccoli and a hard boiled egg over rice.

First time here and the food is very good. I say give it a try hopefully you will enjoy. Service was great and a very clean environment

As tasty as the average Chinese restaurant in the Burgh, but 20% cheaper. The price-quality ratio is top of the line!

Amazing food and fantastic service. This was my first visit. I had the general tso's over rice, and the flavor was perfect. The worker was extremely helpful and kind. Can't wait to try more!
