I'm upset about our service here! My hubby and I went in and the place was dead about 10 people. We seated ourselves at bar and bartender asked for our order, Tony PBR and I wanted tea but all she had was Bottled tea (which I hate) so I ordered a sprite...which is from the well, the Carbonated sprayer from tap and an extremely small 10oz cup (not a glass mason jar) and she charged me $2.50 it was smaller than a 12oz can...come on dudes...usually well soda is FREE or $1 but if you're charging $2.50 then at least make it a Mason Jar...I ordered 6 wings traditional with hot sauce and Bleu cheese for dipping. Hubby ordered Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburger and it cost extra $2 for a side of fries. $10 for a burger with no automatic chips or fries for side....this is NUTS!!! You can spend same price or less anywhere else and get a side included PLUS our fries though Hand cut were burnt and fried in old oil. The wings were hot and good, very wet but I only got to eat one and 2 bites off a second one because I ran out of my "Little cup of Sprite".It was 3:45 and she got busy with peeps coming in for a 5pm pool tournament...and she gave them her undivided attention. She never refilled my SMALL SODA...another reason to put in larger glass LESS REFILLS needed. So with un eaten wings, burnt fries, small cup of sprite, and Tony's good burger that kept falling apart, bun was all mushy...it cost me $27.67...I never felt less appreciated in my life...I know she was busy but less chit chat with the regulars would be nice. There was three people in the kitchen so someone could have helped her. Her name was on the board...I didn't want to share it...I don't recommend but if you go, hope you get better service and better fries...value was over priced for sure today!!!

The Jar is amazing! The food is top notch! Fresh, original-menu items, delicious and reasonably priced! We've eaten in as well as ordered take out. Food was exactly as I ordered and made fast. The drink menu is also amazing! Highly recommend any of their "Jar Drinks". Our family eats there at least once a week! The staff is also extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Overall great hidden gem!

Food (Brisket tips) was dry ok but a bit pricey, 23 plus tip for one person in WV I thought was out of whack or maybe I got the Just Passing Through Menu lol. Service was ok too but u can tell it's def a joint more geared towards locals and I don't exactly blend in lol. Ambiance is that of a cross between a family restaurant and a dive bar yahoooo

Not consistent at all. I ordered on Friday and was impressed. I had a very busy weekend so I ordered again, as most restaurants in Morgantown aren't good. It was terrible. Everything that came from the fryer tasted like fish and old oil. The fries were, somehow, burnt and floppy at the same time. Everything was underdone and soggy. Cheese not melted. The chicken tenders tasted like fish . The only good thing were the sauces that were made on Friday. They had day dots, that's how I know. Good job on the Friday crew. Monday crew sucks.

In WV for an event and trying to find somewhere to dine in. I called here and the lady seemed shocked that I wondered if it was open. When we arrived, there were smokers outside, visible from the parking lot. My brother says that you shouldn't go anywhere claiming to be a bbq place without that. Good to know.Definately more dive bar than family restaurant, but we seated ourselves with a table of 7. I had the smoked prime rib and it was good, but not what I expected. My daughter had the ribs and they were awesome. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. Our waitress was very friendly and was great with kids. However, expect to get a blank stare when asking about anything menu related. We had cocktails and dessert and my bill was somewhere around $40...can't beat that!If I am ever in Morgantown again, I would definately stop in.

We went for a wing eating contest to benefit a great cause, our first time there. The staff and atmosphere were very nice, the other patrons were fun, and I have to say if you want to go to a place that is relaxed and you can talk to just about anyone, this might be your place. Our group of four all ordered food, most of it was very good, we especially liked the mac and cheese, it had a smoky flavor that we all found interesting. Overall, it was a nice little, very unexpectedly nice, spot. We all commented on the cleanliness of the place after we left. We plan to go back.

Went for wing night. Had gotten Paige as a bartender before and she was great! However this time she wasn't there this time. $12 for "all you can eat wings" We ordered hot garlic parm wings which were not hot, garlicky, nor parm wings! Just wings with a little bit of Franks hot sauce in the bottom of the tray! I mentioned it to the bartender working and she ARGUED that it was just me. I know what hot garlic parm is supposed to taste like! Definitely not what they're marketing as. Rude customer service from the girls tonight. Not to mention I had to wait over 10 minutes to get a second beer.

When it was the Mason Jar,it was great. Now it is called the Jar and it is absolutely awful. Went a month ago with my son and service was terrible. Tonight I ordered4 dozen wings to go and when I got them home, they were so over cooked that we couldn't eat them. Wasted $45 plus a $5 tip on food that was not fit to eat. We used to go at least once a week, now I won't step foot in the place again. Such a shame, it used to be one of the best places in morgantown.

From the outside, this looks like a sterotypical saloon. We were greeted by a very friendly server, Natasha, who was incredibly personable and knew the menu well. We ordered the brisket wraps and the ultimate brisquet wrap with mac and cheese. While waiting for our order, enjoyed a brew served in, you guessed it, a mason jar. The wrap was hot and brisket was great...nice and tender. Green beans were good (not great), but if canned, they did a good job sprucing them up. Cole slaw a bit creamy for my taste but good flavor. The ultimate wrap was only missing tomato, according to my dining companion. Overall, would give this a 4 out of 5! Stuffed and out the door for $40 for two dinners and beers.
