Marzoni's Brick Oven & Brewery

While we are visiting in the area we stopped at Marzoni's for some "snacks" and we're not disappointed!We sat at the bar and the bartender (Ashley) was EXCELLENT!! So friendly and attentive. She even tried to get the Cleveland guardians game on for us to watch! They had Moscow Mules on special!! I got the blueberry and my husband got the strawberry- both were so delicious!The menu had just enough choices to satisfy every craving we could have. I was having a hard time deciding and Ashley gave some suggestions - which were very satisfying!The crispy fried brussel sprouts with garlic aioli were so good - and such a generous portion! Both hubs and I loved them!!!I also ordered the panko breaded crispy deviled eggs - OMG - I've never heard of such a thing so I had to try them! Soooooo goooood!!!!Hubs ordered the loaded fries and barely talked the whole time while he was eating them so I know he enjoyed them!

The food is immaculate. Some of the best I've had. Also service is incredible, if your food will take longer, you'll know, anything like that. Also their wings are amazing. (If you get them, I reccomend the stingin' hot honey flavor.) The only bad memory I have from their is getting a bloody nose, but that is not their fault. 10/10 reccomend

I would be hard pressed to find a more unwelcoming establishment in the commonwealth. My experience at Marzoni's was nothing shy of a Benny Hill skit. On Fri 6/14, around 1630 hrs, I arrived and sat at the (completely empty) bar. I am in my mid 30s, balding, and gray sideburns. As much as I would like to pass for a college student - it's not happening. I was asked for my ID (which i appreciated) and the female bartender had trouble scanning it with her handheld machine. Now, my drivers license is PA and I reside in Berks County. Considering this place is in Altoona PA, I'm sure they see PA DL's often. I watched four people stand around bending and twisting my drivers license in an attempt to get their machine to scan. Now, I also happen to be a licensed investigator and own my own pi firm. I explained that I have multiple forms of picture IDs on me (issued by a courthouse and sheriffs dept). I also offered to show them 5 credit cards in my wallet, all with my name on it. That wasn't good enough- this piece of plastic needed to be read by their handheld machine. I really appreciate them being thorough and ensuring no minors are drinking at Marzoni's - but sometimes common sense is needed, such as this instance. After approximately 15 minutes of sitting there smiling as a group of employees tried to validate my DL, the bartender finally came back over and asked if I would like a 16oz. I responded "thank you for my drivers license back, but at this point I would not like to spend any money here". Truly a shame - I travel often for work and really do enjoy supporting smaller businesses. Anyhow, after this ordeal, I went down the street to Texas Roadhouse where it was packed and I was not carded. I don't blame them because when you look at me it's not even close .

Was okay but not one of my favorite places to eat Pizza and the draft beers were soso.

Saturday August 15th, 2020, Tony and I had dinner to celebrate his 58th birthday. The restaurant was decorated so lovely. The staff was very friendly.Tony ordered Steak with mushrooms and onions with loaded baked potatoes. I tried to get him to order some dessert but he got a few extra beers instead...lolI went with the Grilled Blackened Fish Tacos with a Cherry & Lime Pepsi.The food was DeliciousThe waitress very nice & attentivePrices great and decor relaxingHighly recommend and we can't wait to go back when in the area.

Had a delightful meal there with my grandson, his wife, their 4 and 5 year old girls, and my husband. The food was excellent, portions were large, and our waitress was great! I'm looking for an excuse to visit again and again although it's 150-mile round trip to go there from our home.

First and second timers hereTo the point:Excellent staff service.A bit of a wait for the food BUT..... worth the wait, it tastes fresh made and not pre-prepared...!Menu is EXTRAORDINARY for a brewery restaurant!!!Did I mention the menu?The adult grilled cheese is a hands down WINNER.! Kudos to the chef for this..The pizza is above average, tasty and flavor..Beer selection is good with a wide spectrum for preferences... adult caramel cider beverage (TKO cider) is delish...!Two thumbs way up, a very nice find for food, beverages and service. Emily and Jackie were very good servers!This will be a regular stop for us when we visit the area.

If you like to be treated like you're unwelcome at an establishment, this place is for you. A group of us walked in and were rudely treated by the manager, who was very abrasive. I would never give this place another chance.

We stopped to eat at Marzoni's on Tuesday nite. We where greeted by hostess and sat us down right away. We ordered 2 cocktails, 2 pizza, a house salad and a fish n chips. I have never seen french fries on a salad before that seemed weird to me. Then one of the pizzas we ordered crab rangoon my son wanted to try, it would have tasted better if it had less cream cheese sauce. Both pizza were sitting out for a bit so it was cold. Food order was a slow. I didn't particularly like the food. Won't be back anytime soon :(

Good food, fantastic service, great atmosphere. An energetic--but not loud--place to have an evening meal.
