Food and service was excellent! I had the Chicken Fajita and it was the best ever. Chips and salsa on point!

The decor is very nice. It is a very spacious place. We arrived at 12:50pm and there was only 1 table besides us. That was the first red flag. The salsa was totally bland like a tomato juice. I had to pour hot sauce and salt in it, just to make it edible. Second red flag. Unfortunately it didn't get any better. Nothing was warm enough and the food was sub par at best. The refried beans were awful. They tasted like they came out of a cardboard box instead of a can. And through the whole lackluster experience, we had to listen to a radio station that had commercials. Not sure what that was about. I've never been to a MK before and I won't go to another again. It's a shame because the place was really nice inside. That's the only reason I gave it any stars.

Prices are higher than most Mexican restaurants. No atmosphere. No music.Food fair at best. Very little flavor. We were the only ones inside. I wish them the best but they desperately need changes.

This is our first time at this chain. We were seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon. Our hostess & waitress were both pleasant We started off with margaritas, of course. I got a frozen house & my hubs got a Don Julio on the rocks. Mine had a weird taste to it but doable. Hubs got the ceviche and I tried a beef sopes & a grilled shrimp TexMex taco w/ crema. The ceviche was on the appetizer menu for $11, the portion was good size. This is my husbands favorite and he gave it a C+ - ouch. The avocado was microscopic. "I've just had better". The taco was good - purple cabbage & 4 grilled shrimp on an 8" flour taco. I was a little confused when I got it. He was a broken hard shell then the flour tortilla, just pulled the broken hard shell out. B+. Now onto the sopes. I thought this would be like a tostada but it wasn't. There was a small fried dough bowl with beef, lettuce, tomato & onion. I forgot to order it sans onion & man where those babies small. Almost too small to pick out. I decided I didn't like the fries bread bowl so I just ate the inside, the meet had a Taco Bell flavor and just like that I heard the couple behind me talking about Taco Bell! Lastly, I love my food hot & spicy so I ordered their hot salsa. I don't like hot to be hot, it has to have a flavor and theirs was really good. A+! Our bill came to $50 which was about $10 more than similar items we would order elsewhere. Over all we already have a favorite Mexican restaurant that surpasses this. I don't know if we will be back but would never refuse to come here. We were anxious for this restaurant to open and are a little disappointed. I do hope they do well.

Margaritas are great overall. Service is good. Atmosphere is not Mexican and food is mediocre. Lacks Mexicans serving and a Mexican Atmosphere. Salsa is awesome.

We were a little concerned as the parking lot was pretty empty but I'm so glad we stopped in. Absolutely fantastic food and my wife said the margaritas were perfect. inside is very spacious and clean, with huge booths and seating for larger groups. The salsa was one of the best I've had and went perfect with the fresh Tortillas chips. Our server/bartender Jessica was funny and her recommendations spot on. We will definitely be going back and it's over an hour drive for us to get there.

Food was great! Queso was terrific, not thin like most places. Service was great also. Musician Brian Bonhomme was fabulous!
