Would have been 5 star if no credit card fee. There are parking lots scattered throughout the back streets of Sewickley. I was lucky and found street parking. Sewickley's parking meter policies encourage evening & weekend patronage. Reservations HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It is a BYOB establishment. We were greeted like Cheers or Sunday family dinner. We came with recommendations for the sausage/alfredo, pizza, & eggplant. The owner educated us on how each sauce has a particular handmade noodle associated with it. We started with the non-focaccia bread and oil. It was warm, fluffy, and light. It was a nice start and we didn't fill up with on bread. The build the pizza came out with lots of gooey cheese, sausage, & pepperoni. The sausage pasta used an unusual twisty noodle that just held the white sauce delightfully. The eggplant slices were tender and lightly seasoned with a tomato sauce.Five dessert options. Each sounded better than the previous. Two people went with the flour-less chocolate cake with a scoop of gelato. I went with the gelato. The strawberry gelato is OMG. Looking forward to trying other menu options.

Have heard from a friend about the pizza and pasta and met them for a nice dinner. The menu has some other items too. It is BYOB and they do charge $12 per bottle, a little high compared to other places.Nice place with a garage door that opens onto the sidewalk. Our waitress was so good. Very patient and good with descriptions and recommendations. We started with the Polpette al Sago, traditional meatball, and the Pane tritato, focaccia with some roasted tomatoes and other toppings. Both were a nice start and went well with the Insulate Caprese, a really good mozzarella with a tasty oil glaze. We had a variety of pasta and one person raved about the Chicken Parmigiano. The Pasta all Norcina was a creamy dish of garlic pecorino Romano cheese and Italian sausage, very rich and the homemade noodles were perfectly cooked. We had a nice leisurely dinner.

We went back last night on a rainy Thursday. So quick update they have limited the menu due to COVID-19 impacting the business. Good news what they are serving is still very good and worth the visit. We had Meatball appetizer and fried zucchini. The meatballs and sauce are excellent and the thinly slice fried zucchini as well. Both worth a try. We also had the beet salad which was OK needed a little more dressing. For dinner we shared a mushroom pizza and the pizza dough was great all in all definitely would recommend if you're looking for a nice and enjoyable dinner out in Swickley stop by.

I feel so bad doing this but I think it's an important update, they changed their menu and it's MUCH much smaller. No more pepperoni Brussels sprouts, no more arancini balls, no more burrata pizza, no more gluten free options - so many of our favorites are no longer available. Unfortunately they are having issues with staffing, so they simplified. The food was still good (honestly not as good as before, but still good) and the vibe inside hasn't changed much. We will go back, but there are so many other good places close by we probably won't be back as quickly as normal with this smaller menu.

This is a gem located in Sewickley area. I visited for a birthday celebration and on a date night. It is a byob restaurant. Both time the service was spot on. They accommodated for a group of 8 on a birthday dinner a birthday dinner a few years ago and we all very much enjoyed ourselves. As you can see by the time I took pictures dinner was mostly consumed. Hope to visit again when in town.

Love the atmosphere. Not sure what to make of the time invested to dine here on a weekday night. Thankfully the weather was pleasant enough to wait outside for our table to open. 20 minutes later we were led to our dining spot. Server arrived to greet us and ask for our drink order. 15 minutes later, drinks arrive. Server departs again. Eventually, our orders were taken. Today's special was lasagna. However, we were informed to allow 30 minutes for it to be prepared. What?! So, one has to wonder how long will our food take to have something that is not on special!? Turns out, it showed up 30 minutes after we ordered. Not sure why we were led away from choosing lasagna if the same time frame would occur.I think I need a redo, and I will plan to be more proactive with the server on the 2nd visit if food prep timelines are pointed out. The menu has plenty to offer, especially the long list of unique brick oven pizza flavors. I just hope I choose wisely!

None of the restaurant cooks, waiters, staff etc inside were wearing masks. The hostess would put one on to greet people but alternated between using it as a chin rest vs mask - at least she looked like she was trying, everyone else didn't even have one. Not enforcing people wearing masks as they enter restaurant either. I'm not sure if they are limiting capacity or not. Food has always been good but I was shocked at the complete disregard for covid masking precautions.

$12 corkage fee per bottle for Pgh is a high . 2.5% cc fee which they don't mention. Had a variety of dishes, chicken Limone, linguini and clams, gnocchi and shrimp, veal Milanese. Food was ok unfortunately nothing special. Very loud and an annoying fly buzzing around my friends head the entire dinner. Was really looking forward to dining here but one and done experience for me.

If you like indigestion, bad service, waving flies away from your food. This is the place for you!! Extremely loud! They have a corkage fee of $12 that no one will tell you about. You have to read the website to find that one out. I tried four different dishes at my table and they all tasted like spicy sausage sauce, but they were supposed to be different sauces. The host/mgr very combative if you asked him any questions. Very disappointing!!
